I posted a London Haul last month after visiting London on a day trip with my baby sister for a trip to the Bloggers Ball. You guys seemed to love it so that meant I had to go shopping again when I went almost two weeks ago (yikes that’s gone quick!) to see Mumford and Sons. I didn’t go as crazy this time – mainly cause we only had about 2 hours to shop and eat before heading to the Hyde Park for the concert and I thought I’d share with you what I got.
American Eagle
Not a store I’d normally shop in as there’s not too many stores in the UK. Ben wanted to go in and I reluctantly followed, but was really pleasantly surprised. They had a big sale on almost everything was reduced and then they had an extra 30% off on top of those prices. I’m really impressed with the quality of these AE items, I can see myself now having another website to frequently stalk for new items!
Mini Sundress – £20.90 (Was £30)
I fell in love with the black floral pattern on this and the detail this had on the front, I’ve loved this style but have never been able to find a cut which suited me. I wish now I got this home that I got it a size smaller as it’s a little baggy on the back – whilst it looks fine from the front. I didn’t pay attention whilst trying it on. It’s a tad short on me – but It’s just going to be a beach dress so not a major problem that it’s a little loose fitting.
Hoodie – £5.99 (Taken tag off – think it was about £30ish)
I spied these marked down to by 50% and then an extra 50% off the last marked price, and then was even cheaper at the till! I have been moaning for ages that I’ve needed a new hoodie but the ones I’ve liked from similar stores have been too snug a fit for me – I like them loose and cosy. This was perfect. A gorgeous cream with pastel pattern and writing on the arm, it’s gorgeously fleecy on the inside too!
Crochet Cardigan – £12 (Taken tag off – about £25 ish)
I saw these on the mannequins as you walked in, and said to Ben straight away “Bye, I’m going to find this!” – I used to have a lot of these easy throw on style cardigans a few years ago but they’ve all worn out. This is very light and loose fitting – it’s enough to give you “something” without actually being hot. I thought this would also be good for travelling as it won’t actually crease at all.
18 Stud Earrings – 79p (Was £16!)
My last stop before paying was looking at the accessories and jewellery. I spotted this set of earrings which were unmarked as discounted so asked if they were at the checkout. She told me that they would be £11 and they weren’t discounted. I always need more studs like this for my second hole and already regret not getting a second packet. There’s a pair missing as I’m already wearing them. They’re a bright pinky red. Annoyingly these are the only items that are still on their website but are full price at £16 – will keep an eye on them to see if they drop!
Cath Kidston
Peony and Lime Reed Diffuser – Sale was £25, now £12
I know some people go crazy for Cath Kidston – but I’m not really one of those people! I saw their reed diffusers on offer and really liked this floral pattern which will match up with my spare room. I also liked that I can reuse this with cheaper reed diffusers!
Inglot
Eyeshadows (£5 Each)
I was so happy to go back to Inglot – I think there’s only one or two stores in the UK and therefore I’ve only been once. I wanted to get a few peach toned shadows as I’ve been loving the ones I’ve gotten from Makeup Geek and find myself reaching for them a lot! I got two mattes, a lighter and a darker peach – and a glorious orange and gold duochrome.
Lola and Grace
Gem Open Bangle – Was £30, £14.90
After a thoroughly bad experience shopping online with Lola and Grace a few years ago I’ve stayed well away from the brand but was walking past and spotted their sale section and couldn’t resist this open bangle. For those who don’t know Lola and Grace is a sub brand of swarovski, and any crystal elements you see are made from Swarovski crystals so you can essentially snag yourself a Swarovski piece for much cheaper. This bangle next to gold looks rose gold, and next to rose gold it looks gold – so it clearly sits somewhere between the two. I’ve been wearing this all week for work and I absolutely adore it, the bright pops of colour on the gems without being over the top with colour and be able to pair it with just about anything.
Beauty Base
There’s a shop I’ve only ever seen in Westfield called Beauty Base. I was idly wandering through the aisles not seeing anything that was out of the ordinary, Until Iw as stopped in my tracks by a tiny Milani section. Their Conceal and Perfect Foundation (£9.99) has been on my hit list to try and source from the US as I’ve heard amazing things about it, as has their Amore Matte Lip Cream, which I picked up one shade of – Precious, a gorgeous dusky pink (£7.99) (I already have a review of this written it’ll be up soon it’s incredible!).
Dorothy Perkins
Strictly I didn’t get these in London but didn’t have anywhere else to include them. BHS as we all know is shutting it’s doors – my local one in Peterborough also houses some other brands such as Dorothy Perkins and this section was discounted too in it’s final days of opening. I’m not sure how much each item was, but I bought three necklaces and a pair of jeans (haven’t included as they’re just jeans and already in the wash) – for £15 all together!

No me neither until I had to make a complaint to them with online order and the emails started coming back from Swarovski!
I love that dress, it’s so pretty!

Thank you! I love the print on it!
Looks like you managed to find some great bargains! I love the hoodie, the colourful logo especially and the gold duochrome eyeshadow from Inglot looks super pretty!
Thanks Chanelle, I love the hoodie too – although it’s a bit too warm to wear it at the moment yet! I need to try out the eyeshadows, I haven’t got around to it yet as I’ve been reviewing and testing a palette, but they’re next on my list, the duochrome one is gorgeous!
I can imagine the hoodie is too warm, I’ve heard about your heatwave!
You hit the jackpot with some awesome buys…loved seeing them all! American Eagle is one of my favorite stores!! You should try a pair of their jeans, it is pretty much the only brand I wear!!
Id did look at their jeans but couldn’t find any that looked long enough for me (I’m just short of 6ft!)
Oh wow, at only 5ft I have the opposite problem with everything being too long! I have seen them have a size “long” in the jeans, but idk if they would be long enough. That’s a bummer for sure! 🙁
I’ll have to take another look next time I go in – I wouldn’t risk ordering them online!
Great haul. The dress looks really pretty on you☺ where abouts do they do Inglot in London?☺ xc
I’m pretty sure there’s only two stores and they’re at the Westfield Shopping centres, there used to be a store in Cambridge but it shut down. Their website doesn’t have a store guide as far as I can see to see if there’s any more 🙁
Oh really? Westfield Stratfords not too far from me. I’ve never noticed it. I’ll check when I next go☺ x
Between foot Locker and Oasis, Ground Floor! https://uk.westfield.com/stratfordcity/stores/all-stores/inglot/57098
Brilliant. Thanks hun☺ x
That dress looks so good on you, your hair goes with it so well! x
Thanks Lucy! The hair came after the dress but they do match up pretty well!
American Eagle isn’t a store I go into often either. I’ve not actually bought anything there since I find their pricing to be high for the quality. The dress you got is cute though! And a good price. My favourite is that crocheted cardigan!
Oooh Inglot. I havne’t been in ages. I try not to go into that store because it’s dangerous! Have you tried their blushes? I have not and I’ve been curious.
And please do a review of that Milani foundation! It looks awesome.
I can’t decided if you shop more than I do. I think you do…
I’ve been bad with shopping recently, but I don’t go to London so often, just happen to have had two trips in quick succession! It hasn’t helped that I’ve lost weight and actually had to buy clothes! My wallet is feeling it though!
The items I got were well priced even comparable to Primark and the quality is a lot nicer than Primark at least!
Yep review on Milani will be coming up – once our heatwave has gone, I haven’t worn foundation in days it’s been so hot!
I did look at the Inglot blushes but decided against it, I buy them, use them once and I end up coming back to the Estee Lauder peach ones so trying not to buy any more for now while I finish the EL and the Sleek trio off!
Another great haul! We are getting a Primark US here in the States!! I am so excited! I have that hoodie too! It’s so comfy!
Such a fab haul! The bangle looks so pretty and I love the shades you’ve chosen from Inglot.
