Black Friday Liberty Beauty Haul 2023

Black Friday Liberty Beauty Haul 2023

I’ve been saving up my Liberty The Beauty Drop credit for a good few months waiting for things to take my fancy. I’d reached the total of £160 and was feeling in quite a “treat yourself” mood, and after black friday discount email dropped – it took me on a browsing spree. Almost nothing from this haul was on my to-buy list and it was nice to have quite a frivolous shopping spree that I’ve not done for quite some time!

Let’s dive straight into the haul…

Lisa Eldridge

Lisa Eldridge is a brand that I’ve admired from afar since it’s launch and it’s recently started to be stocked on Liberty. I debated purchasing a few bits when it first launched but I’m glad I waited a little longer as I managed to snag these at a small discount. I decided to pick up two different lip formulas and decided to opt for the Velvet Petal True Velvet Lipstick, and the Embrace Lip Gloss in the shade Beauty. I’ve definitely been in a neutral lip era for well over a year now and decided to pick up a few shades that were slightly different to my current go-to shades, but that I should still get a lot of use from.

Ouai

This was a very random purchase, I was looking to see if there was any good Ouai sets (there wasn’t), and spotted this. I’ve used a few perfumes from Ouai in the past, but not tried this one – Dean Street – but as I liked the others, and liked the sound of the notes I just picked it up. It was a good value bottle with the discount at around £41 for a 50ml. I figured even if it doesn’t become a favourite fragrance, I am starting to run low of some fragrances and body sprays that I whack on as a “i’m just nipping out the house”, and help keep me away with my favourites.

Davines

Davines is a brand I’ve wanted to try more from after falling in love with their OI Milk Spray from a box which I’ve since repurchased a few times. I’d noticed I was starting to run low on that, so I purchased a back up as I use it every time I wash my hair. It’s a great all in one product that detangles, conditions, adds shine and acts as a heat protectant. I’ve been wanting to try their shampoo and conditioners but often have been out of stock when I’ve looked, I decided to first try their Minu Shampoo and Conditioner which is for coloured hair. I’m back on my colourful hair journey at the moment and this says it’s meant for illuminating colour (of course essential when your hair is already neon!).

Sunday Riley

Last but not least, I am not 100% sure what possessed me to pick this up as I am constantly up to my eyeballs in moisturiser in this house. But this Sunday Riley set felt like a good deal, with 2 15ml moisturisers, featuring C.E.O. Afterglow Brightening Vitamin C Gel Cream and Ice Ceramide Moisturising Cream. Sunday Riley was a brand I enjoyed most things from and the Ice Moisturiser was one on my list to try a few years ago. The Set had a £40 value but was £20.40 with discount, and these kind of sizes are really handy for being away from home but wanting to travel/pack light.

For those who aren’t aware of Liberty’s Beauty Box, you pay £20 a month which gets added as credit to your account, plus every quarter a box of goodies also arrives. I’ve let my credit build up to buy expensive perfumes off my wishlist, or top up on new favourites discovered in the box. The grand total of this haul was £169.65 with all the discounts, I had £160 worth of credit meaning the grand total of what it cost me was only felt like £5.65 (if we ignore the 8 months of £20 payments!).

Sol de Janeiro

Last up a quick mention that didn’t come from Liberty, whilst they stock some of the creams they don’t stock the sprays currently online – I also picked up a couple of the body mists. I have recently finished the Bum Bum cream and savoured it because of the scent, and I decided I’d like matching body mist as it’s the kind of Gourmand scent I love with notes of Salted Caramel and Pistachio. I also picked up the Cheirosa ’40 Fragrance – again taking a gamble as I liked the sound of it with notes of black amber plum and sweet creme de cassis, which sounded a bit more wintery. I wasn’t sure how well these lasted so I just picked up the small 90mls and thought I’d order the larger sizes once I decide if I like them and they last well!

What did you pick up this black friday?
