Current Favourites: April 2015

Only my second ever favourites I’ve chopped up and changed a lot of products since my last “current favourites” back in February so I thought I would collate everything that I’ve been loving recently.

My Little Beauty Volumising Mascara

In my last favourites, but still making me very happy – My Little Beauty kindly sent me a back up of this as they don’t send products to the UK currently. But this has replaced my once beloved Lancome Mascara. If you can manage to get your hands on this do. When they start shipping to the UK i’ll be buying several backups.

Kurt Geiger Ennis Shoes

I bought these as a treat for myself as a work colleague purchased them and kept wearing to work and it was making me jealous! Surprisingly comfortable for a high strappy sandal with no platform – these were easy to walk in on a recent night out . The straps and laces make my feet feel well supported and I didn’t get that feeling that I was ‘walking out’ of my shoes as I sometimes do with heels. I’m going away over the bank holiday, and I will be taking them with me, every opportunity I get to wear these I will.

The Wet Brush Shine

Another product which has been recently reviewed – I can’t speak highly enough of this. It absolutely baffles me as to how easy it is to brush through my hair without any pulling or tugging. Read the full review for all the details here.

Lottie London Polishes

A fab new range of Nail polishes which are now available in Superdrug – Lottie is a brand which I decided to pick up 3 of whilst on 3 for 2 on a whim never hearing anything about them, and I’ve been so throughly impressed I’ve been back a second time and took opportunity of the 3 for 2 whilst it’s still running!

I currently have reviews up of 2 of the shades pictured here, Lottie Dream Weaver which is the pretty pastel grey blue and Sunset Secrets which is the Orange. There’s another one called Peace Out which is the brightest colbalt blue, keep your eyes out for Wednesday when that review will be up! These are £5.99 each, beautifully packaged, and brilliant quality. I’ve worn nothing but Lottie for 3 weeks on my nails now!

OFRA Liquid Lipstick in Santa Monica

I posted a review of this gorgeous shade. I won’t go into full detail – as I did a full on product rave about this here. This liquid lipstick lasts all day, and I mean that, through multiple meals, chatting, drinking this stuff just doesn’t budge.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

A Netflix original comedy, focusing around Kimmy – a girl who is found in a bunker underground after 15 years after being convinced that the world is ending and an apocolypse is happening. Moving to NYC, Kimmy has to naively catch up on the changes of 15 years of change,  Despite having an awful chunk of her life, she’s probably the most cheery character in any TV series ever. My only complaint? There was only 12 30 minute episodes and I watched them all in 3 evenings. Give me more Netflix!

Be warned the show tune is very catchy, and you may be singing it for weeks.

Rookie iPhone App

I’ve become quite addicted to perfecting instagram snapshots over the past month, all because I downloaded this app. Preloaded with lots of pre loaded filters, frames, options and the ability  to add text – it’s basically a decent photoshop for your phone. If you don’t follow me on instagram check the link at the bottom and I’ll follow you back if I don’t already – let’s be friends!
