Turns out that I gathered a lot more empties when my camera was in for repair than I thought I hadand after these were cherry piked out of my empties basket, I saw that there was still loads in. Another will be coming shortly! Let’s jump straight in to this week’s Ten Empties…

Nivea MicellAIR Micellar Water – GIfted via Latest in Beauty
This was an item I picked from my Latest in Beauty build your own box picks. My friend at work (hey Sian if you’re reading) said this was her Micellar Water of choice, so I decided to give it a whirl as it’s one of the few drugstore options I don’t think I’ve tried. This one was actually really nice and is the most similar I’ve tried to the Garnier one.
Repurchase? Maybe if I ever saw it on a better deal than Garnier, but I think generally Garnier seems to be a better price.
Drunk Elephant Beste no 9 Cleanser review
Probably my least favourite from my kit of DE products that I reviewed around a month ago. Gel cleansers aren’t my favourite – but as far as they go, this one was okay – but I wouldn’t splurge on a full size as I prefer balms and creams.
Repurchase? No
Drunk Elephant C Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream review
I really liked this brightening eye cream from DE it had a nice light formula that felt nice on the skin and sank in quickly. It was moisturising and brightening. The full size = £££ so I can’t see myself repurchasing, but if I happen to stumble across it at a more palatable price point and I was in the market for an eye cream at the time, I could see it being something I would pick up.
Repurchase? If the price was right yes.
Drunk Elephant B Hydra Intensive Serum review
This was another winner from DE – a really light but effective serum that layered well with other products and added a much needed boost of hydration to the skin. I tended to use this 2/3 times a week and could tell the days I used it versus the days I stuck to moisturiser alone. But again this isn’t cheap, but the full size would last a long time. I”m currently using the DE Framboos Serum which is a full size which wll keep me going for some time!
Repurchase? Maybe but I have so many serums to get through!
Makeup
Blink Brow Bar Ultra Define Brow Pencil
This was in my Christmas Advent Calendar and I enjoyed using this. It was a similar formula to my favourite from Stila and was a near on perfect match in terms of colour. It’s £17 for a full size, I doubt I would repurhcase for that reason as I go through brow pencils quicker, I look out for the cheapest option I can find, but I did really enjoy using it!
Repurchase? Unlikely – but would happily use again!
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Royal Glow
Woo! It’s finished – I loved this but I’m pretty good at sticking to one highlighter at the time and I’d guess that since I got this in September, this is the one I’ve used 95% of the time. I loved the tone of this highlighter and found that it lasted really well. This shade was limited edition, but I wouldn’t hesitate to get another Becca highlighter in future – in fact I picked up a mini in a set in TK Maxx a few weeks ago!
Repurchase? Obviously can’t this colour, but others yes. fo sho.
Models Own Makeup Brush Cleaner
This was purchased from my local CCO from the now defunct (or temporarily defunct) Models Own. This was okay, but struggled with brighter pigments and didn’t stand much chance against foundation either. Basically okay on blush, powder and lighter eyeshadow brushes.
Repurchase? Nope.
Bodycare
Aldi Freesia and Pear Hand Soap
I picked some of the Jo Malone Dupes from Aldi just before we moved and we’ve finished the first hand soap. We’ve got another one of these in our bathroom in a different scent and I do really like them. Despite being Aldi – they’re not super cheap, but still come in at a fraction of the price. I think this one has been the favourite scent that I picked up – it’s a really nice fresh scent.
Repurchase? On the rare occasion I go to an Aldi yes!
Haircare
Schwarzkopf Gliss Liquid Silk Conditioner
A really good budget friendly conditioner that I enjoy taking when I travel as the bottle is really skinny and doesn’t end up taking up much room in my bag. I normally pick these up in Poundland if I’m in need of a shampoo and/or conditioner for travel. This one from the Gliss range, after I tried and tested them all throughout last year is my favourite one!
Repurchase? Yes
Percy and Reed Wonder Balm
I confess, I technically didn’t finish this, I decantered this into a larger tube that I had in my collection too to merge the bottles together to save on some clutter in the haircare drawer. A good all rounder hair product I use whilst my hair is freshly washed before I blow dry, it smooths and protects against humidity/frizz appearing.
Repurchase? Probably not, but I will finish the last of what I have in my other tube!
This empties didn’t tot up my empties too much as the DE products didn’t count towards anything value wise, but it was still nice to see them finished off! There’s another empties already close to being complete with another ten, but the total for the year so far is a few pounds short of £700.
Have you tried any of these before? Are you close to finishing any products up?

I’ve been thinking about having a small cull of my highlighter collection recently and only keeping two or three shades.Royal Glow looks absolutely beautiful and like it would be a great shade for everyday use which are the kind of products I love and prefer to invest in! I saw it available on Sephora NZ the other day, can you not get it in The UK anymore?

I think I spied maybe one place which still had it in stock when I reviewed it a month or two back, but it was out of stock everywhere else when I looked – if you can grab it and you’re tempted I would recommend though has been easily one of my favourite highlighters!
John Lewis and SpaceNK have it in stock, I did a quick Google search 😊 I caved and ordered it along with a couple of other items!

Ooh thank you!
I actually have that Drunk Elephant Cleanser. It was my birthday gift from Sephora. I like it but it’s not my favourite.

Yeah I felt the same, Gel cleansers never tend to be my favourite, this one was one of the better ones but I prefer other formula types more!
