I’ve said many times that I’m lazy when it comes to moisturising my body, I can’t imagine anything more boring when I get out of the shower as dipping my hands into a body butter and spending 15 minutes making sure it’s all rubbed in. I’m a lazy in shower moisturiser usually turning to Nivea to solve my lazy girl problem.

So when I spotted the OZ Naturals Olive & Jojoba Oil Nourishing Souffle as part of the OZ naturals reviewer program I’m in. I picked this immediately as my next product to try out. Essentially the same as my loved Nivea in shower moisturisers – but a nicer – and more expensive version.

At first glance whilst being described as an oil, you could be fooled into thinking it’s not as it’s a thick cream when you first sqeeze it out of the tube. When applied onto wet skin this does melt down to a thick oil consistency and feels much more luxurious than Nivea’s line. At almost £20 however do I think it’s 4 or 5 times better than Nivea? I’m not sure – but I don’t have super dry skin – but it has helped keep away my dry elbows, which is the only spot I really suffer with dry skin. Do I however think it’s nicer to use? Yes – it’s much more indulgent and feels a lot nicer.

Personally I’ll keep my Nivea for my day to day use, and keep this back for when I want to pamper myself. If you do find that Nivea doesn’t quite do the job and you suffer with dry skin, I would recommend trying this out though – it has very positive reviews on Amazon, but I can’t comment from the experience of a person who absolutely has to use a moisturiser.
Are you a lazy moisturiser like me – or do you prefer more ‘traditional’ methods?
