Love Me Beauty June 2015 Unboxing

After seeing on an email that products from Elemis would be in the Love Me Beauty boutique later this month. As there wasn’t anything there that I was desperate to get my hands on, I held off a little longer than usual in ordering June 2015’s Love Me Beauty Box this month.

If you’re new to Love Me Beauty, it’s a little different to your average beauty box. You get 6 ‘credits’ each month to spend as you wish on items in their boutique, items are usually one or two credits, and there’s a good mix of brands and products to try.

I could have gone crazy on just elemis, but I decided that there were a lot of products there which I already had multiple backups of already, or some of which I already own.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm – 2 Credits (20ml Sample Size – 200ml full size £79.00)

I had my first experience of a cleansing balm through my love me beauty box, and I wasn’t very keen on that one as it just turned to a watery consistency as I massaged  it in without it doing any removing of makeup. I decided that this cult favourite from Elemis would be a better one to try and I can’t wait to give this a go.

Green People Fruit Scrub – 1 Credit (30ml Sample Size – 50ml full size £12.95)

I’ve gone through my entire stash of scrubs/exfoliators so decided to pick up this sample size to try. Green People is a brand which I’ve heard of but never tried anything from. 88% natural (I like to get as natural as possible) – I was surprised how big of a sample this is compared to full size 50ml sounds small for a full size product (especially for £12.95) – but at least this is a really good sized sample that should see me though at least a month of use!

OFRA Liquid Lipstick in Hollywood – 2 Credits (Full Size Worth Roughly £13.50)

I think I managed to pick up all the OFRA liquid lipsticks that they had available. After googling swatches, this was the one which I was least keen on – but the shades online look nothing like it does in person. Given how much I’ve loved the other 3 colours from the range I’ve got, I thought I may as well get the last – and I don’t think I’ll be disappointed by this rose pink shade either.

Nails Inc Gel Effect Polish in Soho Square – 1 Credit (Full Size Worth £15)

If you do order through LMB – actually google the swatches of products before you order as their product shots can be a little off key, and you might end up disappointed! I decided to pick this one up because it was the most summery shade out of the ones, and don’t have many polishes this shade. (notice not many, not any).

This month hasn’t been my favourite in terms of what’s been available in the Boutique. This is the first month that has felt a little repetitive for me, I’m fed up of seeing Nails Inc as I don’t tend to like their products and tend to pick them as a filler at the end when I don’t know what else to pick or have a spare credit. But I’m excited for everything other than that – so not a bad box in all, just not my favourite.

If you’re thinking of subscribing and aren’t enamoured with my choices – I’d check back at all my past reviews and unboxings of Love Me Beauty Reviews here, personally I don’t think this is a good reflection of the type of choices you can normally get. If you do want to sign up, please use my referral code 4AI3UB to get an 3 extra credits in your first box (it used to be 1 extra – 3 have a value of up to £21 so that’s great!).

Nice picks, I still love the concept of this box – that you can choose the products. Looking forward to seeing swatches and review on that Ofra liquid lipstick. 🙂

That’s cool! I love that you can choose your products. 😀 That makes it so much more fun and satisfying. Pretty Nails Inc!
