July 2015 Empties Part 2

Part 2 of my Empties post.

Garnier Ultra Lift Face Cream Sachets

At the start of the month I posted about a freebie you could get from a Garnier of their new ultralift cream. I was expecting to get a mini pot, but instead a little booklet of 14 sachets arrived. I’ve used 3 so far, they do the job – but annoyingly the sachets contain too much product for one use, a little pot with the same amount of product would have lasted me double the time!

Repurchase? Maybe – undecided!

Nivea In Shower Moisturiser Sample

I found this tucked away in my box of sachets, and I’ve missed having this “lazy girl” product around – but it has been forcing me to use other moisturisers up.

Repurchase? When I’m significantly through my moisturisers yes (but the cocoa butter version.)

Amphora Aromatics Bergamot and Chamomile Face Gel

I’ve been sent a natural deodrant to try out from amphora aromatics and a few other samples were included in the box. I really loved the smell of this, although was very strong for a facial gel. Something in it didn’t agree with my face too much and like the elemis cleansing balm made my face feel hot. Luckily no other reaction other than the heat, I wouldn’t purchase again – Ben used the other half of the sachet and he liked it.

Repurchase? No

Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion

A freebie through their facebook page – this seemed such a silly small sample to put through the post (you’d think they’d send 2 or 3 so you could really try the product) and make use of the cost of sending!. But I didn’t like this, It felt quite greasy and I found it really hard to work into the skin.

Repurchase? No!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

I’m glad to be at the end of this now. I like this a lot, but I’ve had these in my collection for so long now that I’m glad to see the back of it. Also at the moment I’m much preferring the Essence All about Matt concealer.

Repurchase? Maybe, but not for now.

My Little Beauty Soin Et Volume Mascara

It was a sad day when I had to admit the second tube I’ve had from My Little Beauty was empty. I like this mascara a lot (I think I now prefer Too Faced Better Than Sex though), you can;t actually buy it in the UK yet and I received my first through their beauty box subscription and my second through asking them on facebook when I could get another and they kindly sent me one for free. I have a lot of length naturally to my lashes and this just adds a little more whilst adding a lot of volume without going clumpy.

Repurchase? If I could yes!

Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo

My favourite dry shampoo, normally I can’t make it to the bottom of the can. Not the cheapest but I need far less of this, any other dry shampoo seems to last me 2-3 week max where this can lasted almost 6 weeks. It’s a marmite product, but I get on really well with it (and it doesn’t have any cast to it either).

Repurchase? Already have!

L’Oreal Pure Colour Conditioner

The matching shampoo narrowly missed out being included in this empties by a use or 2. I like this line very mych with a rosemary and mint scent which isn’t over the top it leaves my hair feeling and smelling clean. A great sulphate and paraben free shampoo if you’re looking for one to try.

Repurchase? Yes (I wish I had instead of the Soap and Glory one I’m using now!)

Yeah it was very plain all round I can see it would work well for sensitive skin, I was just rubbing and rubbing it into my dry arms and they were still white
