I wanted to get this post up as soon as possible, as I managed to get my hands on this in the Body Shop Sale, and you may have already seen this in my haul a few weeks ago. The Body Shop Virgin Mojito Body Scrub seems to be no longer seems to be online, but they have their Black Friday sale in a few weeks and it might reappear or you might see it lingering in a store’s sale section or outlet!
Not particularly seasonal at all, the Virgin Mojito Body Scrub was from The Body Shop’s limited edition summer range. I really love lime and mint scents so I knew I was going to like this – but when I’ve been conditioned to a local store which is an outlet and everything is 40% off on top of discounted prices, splurging on full priced current limited edition items does feel very pricey.
The Body Shop Virgin Mojito Body Scrub scent is as amazing as I hoped and transports me straight back to summer, it’s fresh without being too zesty, with the mint helping mellow the lime which otherwise could be overpowering. The consistency for a scrub is quite light – mainly made up of a gel, with beads through the product which aren’t too densely packed for making it very harsh, but for those like me who don’t suffer terribly with dry skin and don’t tend to need something very abrasive is the perfect consistency. Which is also good because I can’t stop using it either, every time I shower I find myself using this to the point where I’ve taken it out of the shower now because I’m using it because I like the smell – not because I need to scrub, and I need to savour every last drop of this delicious smelling scrub.
I’ll be checking back in the sales (and my local outlet) to see if I can stock up on The Body Shop Virgin Mojito Body Scrub, and other products from this range, luckily I have a body sorbet, which I have tucked away to try and save until the spring or summer and I can relive the joy of the fragrance all over again!
I’m becoming a bit of a body shop convert! What are your favourite products?
