Montagne Jeunesse Black Seaweed Peel Off Masque – Face Mask Friday #4

Montagne Jeunesse Black Seaweed Peel Off Masque

Happy Easter Friday! Another Friday, Another face mask – I’ve finally been able to get my hands on the Montagne Jeunesse Black Seaweed Peel Off Masque. I’ve heard a lot about this specific budget face mask brands mask, and it has been out of stock for the past few weeks everywhere I’ve tried to search.

The Montagne Jeunesse Black Seaweed Peel Off Masque claims to bee “ultra deep cleaning, straight from the sea” using welsh laver seaweed and crushed sea buckthorn berries to make a mask that will detox, cleanse and peel of dirt and grease.

I took good note of the condition of my skin before applying, my blemishes that I was suffering with have pretty much cleared, but all down my t-zone I can see big pores and small blackheads on my chin.

The last montagne jenuesse mask I tried looked bright green on the packet, but applied pretty much clear, I was hoping that this would be the same with this one as the black didn’t look exactly appealing…

But it was not. 🙁

This was soothing and cooling on the skin for the first few minutes this was on, and this mask did actually help peel away some of the blackheads and peel away dirt in the clogged pores, although not 100% – but for a 99p face mask it was well money spent. Another thing I noticed with it was it left my skin feeling very smooth. I will be picking this up again, if I can get my hands on it!

Overall Score
