It doesn’t feel like five minutes since I got super excited and ordered the first beauty box from QVC, and as soon as the teasers about their second box started rolling in, I knew it would be another box I would just have to have.
A few points about the Tili box as some details about the surface have emerged since the first box where I was unclear. The Tili box (Try It, Love It) is not a subscription and comes out every three months and will always be £20. They release the details and contents of the box prior to it’s release – so you know what’s inside whether you’re interested and whether you want to buy. The first box offered superb value and brands – and dare I say, this months is even better on both fronts… It even has more full sizes.
This month’s box was a gorgeous grey and pink colour scheme, which I love – although I was expecting to maybe see something like reds that would both fit in for the autumn months and also maybe feeling a bit Christmassy for anyone who may think of giving this as a gift.
The first item they teased this month had me excited, the Tarte Tartiest Mascara (Full Size £22.00), which I believe is their newest mascara release. I’m desperate to try more products out from Tarte and I’ll happily take a well-rated mascara, I’ve wanted to try Lights, Camera, Lashes since it’s launch a good 2-3 years ago!
Next up that had me excited is the Laura Gellar Spackle Tinted Bronze Primer (Full Size £22.00) – I already have the normal Spackle primer and love it, it’s currently my go-to at the moment. I may (haven’t decided yet), put this in my giveaway box, I have so many primers on the go that I’m trying to finish and I imagine this will just be a bronze version of a product that I already love.
Percy and Reed Hair Mousse (Full Size £12.00) I have a few Percy and Reed products and seem to get along with them quite well. I’m not a big hair mousse wearer but I don’t actually own any, so I may retry the idea, now my hair is long and heavy it needs all the help it can when wearing a curl
Pixi Silky Eye Pen (Mini Size -more than half, full size £9.00) I’ve rediscovered a few Pixi products from my collection recently and have been really impressed with what I’ve been re-trying. From the pictures online I thought this was going to be a charcoal or olive coloured liner, but it’s black, I’ve swatched this on my hand and it’s a lovely silky black gel pencil that once set has really locked into place on my hand.
Niod Multi Molecular Hyalauronic Complex Serum (Half Size Worth £17.50) I’ve not heard of this brand before, and it’s an exclusive range to QVC’s line up online. I really want to start getting into acids based products to target old scars on face to see if I can help fade them – but I need to educate which ones will do the job and also be good for oily skin. Either way I’m excited to have this and have a new brand to try.
OPI Polish (Full Size £10.00) I was kind of hoping from the pictures this might have been Russian Navy, as it’s one I’ve had on my list to get for years and low and behold it was. I’m already wearing this, so expect a review upcoming, but it was a perfect colour choice coming into Winter, when I love to wear navys.
Philosophy Amazing Grace Shampoo, Shower & Bath Gel (30ml sample – Worth £1.19). I’ve never actually tried anything from Philosophy, I’m not a bath gal and their shower/bath/shampoo that they’re known for is too pricey for me to splash my cash on over a body shop shower gel. This has gone straight in my shower and is already being put to use. I do like it, not sure I’ll ever like a shower gel enough to spend £20 on a full size though!
Caudalie Resveratrol Face Lifting Moisturiser (15ml Sample – Worth £12.00). Last but not least is a generous sized sample from Caudalie, I’ve had bits and bobs from Caudalie through the years, all from beauty boxes but apart from a hand cream (which I loved), the samples have not really been big enough to really gauge any thoughts on the products, so I’m happy to have a bigger sized sample to try.
Overall I’m really impressed with this box again this time, the quantity and size of products feel enough to keep me going for the three months between each box. Baring in mind the next box won’t now be out til January (I think I’m doing my calculations right!?) – this would make Christmas Present, or maybe a good one for secret santa too!

Can’t wait for mine to arrive. It’s such a good box this monthπx
I ordered mine Saturday and it arrived yesterday – so will hopefully not be too long! Agreed it’s a great box this month! x
I ordered Sat too, it’s been dispatched so not longβΊ Last months was very good but having makeup in the box makes it even better x
I can’t wait to get mine! Thanks for the tip. π I have some products from a sister brand of the hyaluronic acid that I have just started using so I am excited for this…it’s a great skin plumper. If you’re wanting to fade scars you may want something else (check out their website and sister brand ‘Ordinary’). I use salicylic acid from Paula’s Choice (I have oily skin) which helps with this. My box should be here any day now! Eeeek! Great review and pics.x
I think I might have some salycilic acid in my cupboard! I will take a look though thank you! Mine was dispatched Monday I think so I think yours should arrive today, fingers crossed!
As soon as I’d mentioned the other ones, and I saw the teasers for this pop up I was like – I have to tell you about this one too! xxx
I literally want to try everything in it! Yey! ππ
I’m already wearing the polish and I’m planning on trying out the skincare tonight, and makeup tomorrow! I’d have done it this morning but woke up very late so didn’t have chance! x
This box looks amazing! Soo many good things! I definitely want to try this! X
The last box sold out after about 6 weeks and I think this one will be even more popular, so I’d get your skates on if you do π xxx
That doesn’t surprise me! It’s got some amazing things in it! Xxx
What a great box! I have that pixi eye liner, it’s a bit too smeary for me.
OPI Russian Navy is a gorgeous shade! I love how it has purple in it – I haven’t worn it in ages.
Again, we never have such great boxes here – otherwise I would have subscribed to one a long time ago!
Russian Navy reminds me a lot of OPI Ink which is one of my favourites!
I’ve been experimenting with different makeup styles more recently and have been doing a smudged out look a lot, I can still see the line on my hand a little bit from swatching last night!
I thought I had Ink but I don’t. It looks more purple compared to Russian Navy based on online comparisons.
Come to think of it, I actually purged that eyeliner – I couldn’t make it work for me! I’m glad you’re enjoying it though!
Haven’t tried it on ma face yet, might change my mind ha
I got mine today – another great box π what did you use as your photo backgrounds? Looks like pouring medium art – love it π xx
It was some hand dyed paper I found at Paperchase, has a fabricy texture. I went back to find some more colours and it wasn’t in my local one, I think only bigger stores might stock it π
Oh cool. Because it looks in a similar style to some of my art http://www.artbyels.co.uk I guess the dying of the paper is achieved in a similar marbling way. Love it! X
Gorgeous!
This sounds amazing! I love how it’s not a monthly thing so it gives the company time to build up the hype and think about what’s going into the boxes and it gives subscribers time to get excited! Russian Navy looks beautiful π
Yes I totally agree, it means they can get some really good products, and I guess QVC have some of the best connections to get amazing brands for the box too! I’m looking forward to seeing what’s to come
Amazing box!
Yup, I agree!
I need to revisit the Laura Gellar spackle primer. I had a sample of it when it used to be sold at Sephora and completely loved it. I forgot all about it though so it’s nice to see it on here. π
This looks like such a good box! x
Really is!
