Essie “Lovie Dovie?” – Swatch & Review

Lately I’ve been gravitating to nothing but hues of green and blue – I don’t know why as usually those are the last colours on my list that I reach for. I decided when I came to paint my nails in the week, that I needed to break the cycle and pick something different (although the next colour will probably be blue or green again).

I picked up Essie’s Lovie Dovie, as for me it’s a reliable classic shade of cerise which I turn to when I don’t know what else to wear – now when I’ve come to google this to deem whether it’s in Essie’s current collection – Lovie Dovie is an entirely different colour and I must have got a bottle which has been incorrectly labelled! So if anyone knows what it might be let me know!

This makes this almost impossible to review properly as I can’t tell you what it’s called or if it’s still available, but I already photographed it, so don’t want those photos to go to waste!

As with all Essie this lasts really well on the nails, I’ve now had it on  for 5 days and it’s just wearing on the tips. It’s not as glossy as other Essie shades such as Suite Retreat which I reviewed last week, but with a lick of Seche Vite it’s super shiny and long lasting.

Not the best review I’m sorry – If you can help me identify what it is, please leave a comment!
