Herbal Essences: Naked Dry Shampoo Review

The Naked line from herbal essences is new recently in the UK, the line free from parabens and colourants makes a perfect sounding recipe for a a dry shampoo. I picked this up, A) because it was on offer for £2, and B) Whilst I like the Dove Dry Shampoo, which has been my favourite to date, I wouldn’t say I really love it.

Unfortunately this hasn’t become a new holy grail, I found that it didn’t really do anything for me, it didn’t reduce the look or feel of second day hair for me.

Even if I did love it I would be reluctant to repurchase. Annoyingly also the bottle stopped working, and it’s probably 3/4 full. I bought a second one, from a different shop in a different town, and the same thing happened again. Nothing I’ve tried will get it working again. But I’ve tried it enough times now to know that it won’t work for me. With the last time I used it, I used so much of it to the point where I knew it was too much product, but it just was having no effect. It’s certainly not he worst dry shampoo I’ve ever used, but it’s not close the the best either.

So I’ll be sticking with Dove for now, I’m yet to try the Tresemme dry shampoos, I think I may give one of those when I next need to buy. I really can’t get on with batiste, i can’t deal with the fact it makes my hair feel less greasy, but more dirty in a dusty way. What’s your favourite dry shampoo? And has anyone tried an loved this that can tell me what I’m doing wrong?

  1. I didn’t know herbal essences did a dry shampoo, but it doesn’t sound good at all! I’m currently using an Aussie one in my search of a better product than Batiste x

      1. It’s not a powder at all. Confused me the first time I used it cause i thought I’d bought hairspray by accident, but when you rub it in it really really works. Deffo converted x
