I recently hauled the Estee Lauder Peach Witty blush, which I’ve bought as a back up replacement for my much loved favourite blush Peach Nuance, also from Estee Lauder. I managed to score Peach Nuance at a CCO store about 3 years ago now (don’t tell me about makeup expiration, I don’t buy it for powders on personal use) and it’s been my go to blush ever since. It’s only in the past year that I have actually started using blush on an every day basis and you’d think that even with that this blush would be closer to the end as it is genuinely the one I reach for 9 times out of ten. But it’s still going strong – the pan is quite exposed now and it’s getting to the point where I don’t really want to travel with it now as such a deep pan can mean it shatters with the slightest knock.
On the surface they look similar but not identical, noticeable differences are that Peach Witty’s (the new one on the left above) colours are much more pastel compared to it’s big sister, both the yellow side and the bright peach side look brighter in the older version. The pan is much bigger, shape of the packaging is different. And to start off with I was actually quite pleased that it seemed less chunky than it’s sister – as it is a little on the bulky side for travelling, but actually looking at the picture below they’re virtually the same, the new repackaged version made it look skinnier due to it being wider.
Bigger pan I thought would mean more product but both of these have 7g of product, so the pan in the Peach Witty must be shallower in comparison. I actually don’t dislike the old packaging – but you can see that Estee Lauder are definitely moving to position themselves as a younger audience with Kendall Jenner as the face of the brand – whilst not moving too far away from their classic roots that your Grandma will associate herself with.
As soon as I put these side by side the colour difference in the two had me disappointed, clearly this wasn’t going to be the perfect replacement for my discontinued Holy Grail, but I was wrong. these swatch virtually the same as one another and had me practically skipping around with joy to discover just how close they were to one another. It’s a little hard to tell given I’m clearly missing the middle part of the ombre and whether that would have made any difference, but I love the colour that it swatches as now every day when I use this.
There is a slight difference in appearance in the swatches above, I think that’s more down to me finding it difficult to get a perfect balance between my old favourite because the whole middle section is missing. On the cheeks applied far sheerer, it’s a perfect match.
The Peach Nuance was in the line/formula ‘Signature Blush’ which have all been discontinued, the new version is ‘Pure Colour Blush’ and I can’t tell the difference between the two, they both have the same pigmentation level, medium but buildable and they wear the same amount of time on my skin. I don’t like a heavy blush look on me, a simple flush on the cheeks is enough and this offers the perfect amount of colour – but you could easily add more to it as well if wanted. To me it seems like they just renamed signature blush, rather than discontinuing it and just renamed the blushes within the line.
I was a bit glum when I needed to admit it was time to really try and use Peach Nuance up and get it out of my collection, and I wasn’t even aware that it had been replaced, as I knew at the time I was buying a discontinued blush, but to be honest I don’t even know what’s the difference between one and the other, other than the packaging. I’ll happily be making the effort to use Peach Nuance up now whilst at home and I’ll probably start using the Estee Lauder Peach Witty for travel to avoid the other breaking.
Estee Lauder is a brand I haven’t really tried anything from, I have Double Wear foundation, but those are literally the only 2 make up items I’ve tried from the line. If you have any recommendations I should try please let me know, If I love everything from them as much as this then I need to try more!

Try the lip potion liquid lipsticks. They are very comfortable on the lips
Ooh I’ve not heard of these, love a good liquid lipstick though so will have to have a look at them! xxx
Gorgeous blusher. X
Yep, pretty to just stare at! x
Oh my god this blush looks amazing! So cute!! ♥
Yep it’s gorgeous glad to find that my fave had been replaced!
Wow, they are absolutely beautiful!
Aren’t they just!
Haven’t really explored Estee Lauder not much but this blush looks so beautiful!
Even if this blush was rubbish I don’t think I could be annoyed as it’s so pretty! haha
I know haha! I have a Mac blush very similar in design which sadly isn’t the best quality although part of me is still happy I bought it just because it’s pretty haha!
Hiii. Can you try and check out my page please. I would appreciate it. Thank you
Pretty blush – I much prefer Double Wear Light, obviously for a less than full coverage foundation. And for skincare, Advanced Night Repair is a classic for a reason.
I have always heard good things about that, already have a lot of night oils though so need to make my way through at least one before thinking about purchasing more 😂
