Nails Inc Bruton Lane – Swatch & Review

The second of my Nails Inc picks from this month’s Love Me Beauty box. Meet Nails Inc Bruton Lane, a pretty bright peach shade, and one which I don’t have anything completely comparable to in my collection – with everything I thought was similar edging either much paler or more orange.

Firstly, this shade was a bit of a B.I.T.C.H to apply, streaky and generally just a pain in the bum to get a nice application of. This took 3 coats to get an even coverage, and took a day and age to dry. Then when it did dry, it didn’t have the best finished and is pictured here with a coat of Barry M Plumpy topcoat to finish off.

The colour of this is pretty, and I think it photographs a little better against my skin tone than it looks in real life, as I don’t love it against my skin, as it kind of just blends in. I think this would be a pretty shade on those with a paler, or darker skin tone than me – and I’m hoping come summer to give this a go again and see if I like it a bit more on me then.

Unfortunately, despite all of the above – the thing that disappoints me the most, is the problem that I seem to have with most Nails Inc polishes. The wear time, this just doesn’t last well on my nails with just over 24 hours before chips appear.

What’s your favourite Nails Inc Shade?

P.S If you missed it, last week I posted a Makeup Revolution giveaway, there’s still plenty of time to enter – check it out here!
