My Little Box – The Cosy Box – November 2014

My Little Box have hit the nail on the head with the cosy theme this month, I’ve been feeling a little unmotivated to do anything when I get home with this cold weather, I don’t want to move from the sofa hibernating under my fleece, with my dog sat on my feet when I get home. So grab a cuppa and wrap yourself up for my review of November’s Edition of My Little Cosy Box.

The Beauty Products

Strangely for a cosy theme, the products aren’t particularly cosy themed, that being said I’m happy with all of them:

Arcincil Starliner Waterproof in Black – A quick swatch of this shows it has amazing pigmentation, expect some eyeliner reviews coming soon, as I’ve ended up with 4 new ones this month.

My Little Beauty Volumising Mascara – This packaging is amazing, the brush isn’t plastic (good news for me I hate plastic/rubber!) and it’s really generously sized tube. I can’t wait to start using this, as it looks like the kind of mascara I will love!

Essie Mini Nail Polish in Cute as Button – Annoyingly, I already own a full size of this polish, but I do really like this polish. I’m going to pop this aside, as I’ve been thinking about doing a giveaway, so look out for that soon, once I have some other prizes sorted!

The Extras

An Espresso Mug, I’m not a coffee drinker – ever, I debated whether to put this in my kitchen for it to never be used, but thought that the cute message would never be seen, I’ve actually put it on my dressing table, it’s the perfect size for tweezers, which usually get lost in the draw.

The Print – ‘my favourite pastime is to let time go by, to have time, to take my time, to waste time, to live out of time– I like this quote a lot and the illustration is basically a drawing of my friend Annika of two little owls, so I like the whole thing even more!

The ‘Hot Water Bottle’ – described as a hot water bottle, this is a microwaveable bean bag – which is actually much easier than faffing about with boiling a kettle, and a save on water too! I used this last night and my dog loves/hates it – it obviously smells of food or something to him, and he wouldn’t stop barking at me! Re-heatable bean-bags like this are usually scented with Lavender, and this one is plain – something i’m grateful for as I’m allergic to lavender!

I’m thinking of subscribing and I’ve seen a couple of reviews and I’m 99% sold. Do you receive 6 items every time? X

So far theres always been 3 beauty items, a print and then theres been at least 2 extra items, i think the first box had 3 – they claim the boxes are worth £65, although that depends on how much they value they attribute to the extras which so far have always been made for the box, but for £15 including delivery from france, im impressed!

I’m already subscribe to Glossybix, don’t know if I can commit another £15 a month to receive another box 🙈 xx

Yes! So far whilst you get 3 very decent, if not full sized samples, so far everything i have received in a my little box i would potentially buy, but i dont feel the same about the majority of products in glossybox any more, but i have been subbed to them for 3 years, and the cycle has gone round for me now

Yeah I’ve only been with them for 1.5 years and for me the experience has improved. I might give My little box a go for January to see if they beat my January blues 🙂 or I might wait and see couple more of your reviews
