Tili Heatwave Box (AKA, The Best Beauty Box You’ll Find This Summer)

Tili Heatwave Box Review

I’ll admit that I’ve not been the biggest fan of the line up of items in the past few Tili boxes so I’ve ended up skipping over them. But the minute I saw that there was four full sizes in this edition with some absolutely fab brands featured I knew this box was one for me to try – the box had one specific item that I’d been wanting to try that it’s full price was more than the box itself. This felt like the Tili Heatwave Box when it first launched and I couldn’t resist it!

Is the Tili Heatwave Box not the most summery box that you’ve ever seen? This box is going straight into my new dressing table to store makeup in, it’s so fun and up my street. Would 100% wallpaper my office in this. Tili can you sort me out?

There’s 8 items in this edition for £20, and not one of them is a dud. Let’s get straight into the items.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Highlighter in Sparkler (5.6g)  – Full Size – £22
This was the item that I was definitely drawn to, and such fab value since the box only cost £20! I’ve wanted to try the Tarte clay formula for blushers and highlights since forever and the highlighters always look so pretty from what I’ve seen. The shade included Sparkler which looked like a soft champagne cold looked right up my alley and reminded me of an old favourite, The Balm’s Mary Loumanizer, seemed like a no brannier!

Neom Pulse Point Rollerball (8ml) – Full Size £8.00
Neom is a brand that I don’t think I’ve tried anything from – known for being Aromatherapy specialists, there was two different rollerball scents on the cards and I lucked out with the one I’d have picked given the choice. “Great Day” is a rollerball for your pulse points with mint and mandarin. Sounds up my alley rather than something with dreaded lavender in!

Tweak’d Dhatelo Restore Hydrating Treatment Balm – Full Size – £18
I’ve not heard of this brand before but this Leave in Treatment sounded like it would be a great product to have for when hair is feeling a bit lack lustre and in need of a more care. It’s described as being scented with almond, honey and vanilla which sounds like it’s going to compliment my honey and oatmeal shampoos perfectly for an extra dose of yumminess lingering on my locks. Another full size too!

Gym for your Skin B-HIT Vitamin B Booster Serum – Full Size – £37.00
I’ve not tried anything from this brand before but I believe they’re all about creating products that make your skin “work out”. Vitamin B is for dry and dehydrated skin, it claims to add glow and protect against free radicals and pollutants. It contains lactic acid which my skin loves so I’m looking forward to trying this – and hoping it performs like the Sunday Riley Good Genes (US Version) which is prohibited in the UK which my skin adores. Sounds fab, heading straight to my bedside table!

The Ordinary AHA 30% BHA 2% Peeling Solution – Full Size – £6.25
I do actually own this already and I’ve not really forced myself into a routine of using it, I’ve had it in my collection for ages but it’s tucked away and doesn’t see much love. I might keep this aside for a giveaway in future, but this is a product aimed to give you smooth, glowing baby soft skin. It’s a product I should be using but for some reason I just don’t pick it up. Note to self, find and use the original bottle.

Decleor Green Mandarin Sun-Kissed Day Cream – 15ml Deluxe Sample
Sample moisturisers are always welcomed in my cupboard – I love having minis of ones to travel with to save lugging a full size away with me and my stash of them is running low! Decleor is a nice brand to be featured, and it’s got a light fresh scent. This won’t be one for everyone as it’s an Essential Oil rich formula, but it’s not something I notice that effects my skin. I’ll be willing to give it a whirl!

Nails Inc Bright Ambition Gel Effect Nail Polish – Full Size – £11.00
Nails Inc polishes for the most part aren’t my favourites but there are some hits within the line I do get on very well with. There were three different bright verging on neon shades available – purple, coral and blue –  from this and I received the shade Strictly Bikini – the bright coral shade I was secretly hoping for. This is one of those shades that will never capture correctly on camera, it’s a vivid neon coral. All the shades in this were really bright and brought the summer vibes to the box. I’ll definitely be whipping this shade on my nails this week!

Benefit Hoola Bronzer – 3g Deluxe Sample
Confession, I’ve never tried Hoola. I know. I’m as shocked as you are.
Last but not least is this iconic product, one of the most reputable from Benefit! This bronzer has been around since I can remember getting into makeup and somehow I’ve not ever had it in my makeup bag! This is a generous sized sample and it comes in a fraction smaller than the mini boxed items from Benefit. I’m looking forward to trying this and I’ll be adding it straight to my makeup drawer for summer!

Is this not a fantastic box or what? I really love that they’ve covered most areas of beauty with this, the one thing it’s missing is a body product – as there’s makeup, fragrance, hair, skincare and nails – but there’s not an item here that’s a great addition to the box, and I’d rather what’s included than a body lotion or a shower gel! Full size items alone are worth over £100, and for a box costing £20 – that’s a pretty sweet ROI.

If you’re interested in this box, I’d grab the Tili Heatwave Box while you can – I’m pretty sure it’s going to be a sell out!

The highlighter is very pretty, the name is appropriate! The coral polish will look good on you too – a perfect summer shade to go with tan/bronze skin. The 3g sample of Hoola is generous and definitely enough to give you an idea of whether you like the product or not x

Yes Hoola is enough for me to give it a whirl – I think I’d have been more likely to try it if it was in packaging like this in the first place, I hate how fat the Benefit boxes are! Next on my nails is going to have to be that coral polish! x

I can imagine once Hoola starts running out swirling a brush around in the box wouldn’t be easy. Hope you’ll share a picture of the polish once you’ve tried it out!

Hoola is my holy grail bronzer. I’ve gone through at least 2 of them.

The nail colour is bright neon! Put it on last night and it’s day glow orange, dries even brighter than it is in the bottle!

Such a great price. I kind of want to try it but I’m trying to be good. I’ve wanted to try a Tarte highlighter or blush so a full size highlighter makes it even more tempting! I love the range of products they’ve got in there, it covers so many areas of beauty and that neon nail varnish is so pretty!

The neon nail varnish I put on last night and it’s cheering me up a lot today – even brighter on the nails than it looks in the bottle! Yes I was the same – couldn’t resist this box because of the cost of blushes/highlughts from them normally! Lots of the products seem fab this time!

I can’t believe how fast you turned this post around 😂 I’d not even unboxed mine and your post was up! Jealous of the nail shade you got – I’ll give the blue a whirl but if I’m not feeling it I’ll send it your way! xxxx
