ASOS Beauty Box – Summer Skin – June 2019

ASOS Beauty Box – Summer Skin – June 2019

The last few ASOS boxes have been up my street, and when my friend Soph spotted this one I had to grab it as I had back to work blues after a week off work and I thought this would arrival would cheer me up as I headed back to my desk. These boxes are £12 each and this time it features five different items, I like that this one is all skincare and features a nice mix of brands.

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
I am kind of over The Ordinary as a whole, I’ve not been keen on any of the items I’ve tried, the skincare and makeup has all been overwhelming. But this is a product that has come highly recommended by my friend Molly, who has had this in the past and it’s inclusion in this box spurred her to also order it. This is a blemish control formula, which is now *touches wood* an issue I suffer with fairly infrequently, but I don’t have a spot treatment in my arsenal to tackle one should I need to! This is a cheap product anyway, coming in at just £5.00, but it’s a full size which is always nice to have!

Emma Hardie Protect & Prime SPF 30 (15ml Sample Size)
I’m pretty sure I’ve had a sachet of this in the past, but I don’t think I’ve ever tried a sizeable tube! Emma Hardie is a brand which I’ve liked everything that I’ve tried from, and this is a Primer and SPF in one, which I love the idea of for summer days when I don’t want to overload my skin and makes the routine a little quicker. The full size of this cost £46 for 50ml which makes this sample worth £13.76.

Nip + Fab Dragon’s Blood Fix Hydration Sheet Mask
Nip and Fab was a brand I got really into a few years ago for a short while, and I seem to have neglected them of late. Sheet masks are something that are definitely not needed in my collection, but I do appreciate them topping up my stash and having a few different options to choose from! The Dragon’s Blood range is one that I’ve not tried anything from at all, it’s meant to be a range that’s really hydrating, so I’ll be saving this for a day after spending a lot of time in the sun (wishful thinking with the current weather!) These cost £7.50 each.

Origins Mega-Mushroom Relief & Resilience (30ml Sample)
Bloody love a bit of Origins, this is something I’ve not tried from before, it’s a tiny little sample compared to the full size which comes in at 400ml! This is a toner type treatment that is designed for soothing, calming and boosting hydrating the skin. This sounds like a perfect post-sun bathing accompaniment in a travel friendly size, I may well save this for if we end up going somewhere hot! Sample worth £3.44.

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads (28 pads)
I’m really into Glycolic acids at the moment and this will be perfect to keep in my makeup bag for being on the go. I’ve not tried First Aid Beauty’s Radiance pads before, but I know that they are well loved so I’m expecting that they’re going to be a product that I enjoy. The full size packs contain 60 pads and come in at £25, which makes this sample worth £11.50!

If you’d like to order yourself this box, I’d move fast as these boxes usually sell out fast! You can find it here for £12. I think this is an excellent thing to pick up if you’re maybe doing some travelling this summer, there’s lovely minis and one offs across the board that will see your skin shine whilst on your travels. I’m really pleased I picked this up and I’m looking forward to giving them all a whirl over the next few months!

Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried any of these before!

Aww, this collection is pretty cute. I would love to try the Origins product range as this is one I am unfamiliar with. However, I have my doubts about First Aid Beauty. I cannot get behind the scent of their products.
I have tried the Ordinary product which is the best product from their entire range, in my opinion. I tried all of their products and for me this is the one that is really worth getting. It does wonders on my pores and hips greatly with acne (even my cystic acne).

I’ve not tried much from First Aid Beauty at all – I’ve not cracked open these wipes yet as I don’t want them to go dry before I’m ready to use them! I like origins stuff but have only tried a little from them!

Let me know how you find First Aid Beauty. Personally, I could not deal with the scent of the products I had from them.

I’ll confess – yet to try them yet, I’ve been trying to finish off a bottle of Pixi Glow Tonic – I’ll probably save them for when I travel at the end of September for Holiday.
