Mothers Day with Newbridge Silverware

Newbridge Silverware

[This Post features Gifted Items] Thinking of ideas as gifts can be a real struggle for me when you have a Mum, like mine who seems to already have everything she wants. When Newbridge Silverware got in touch and asked if I’d like some pieces to try to celebrate Mother’s Day, a quick peek of their vast selection of gorgeous jewellery told me, that I could see it being a range that would suit a Mum with just about any style.

Jewellery is always as fantastic gift to give, when I’m in a panic it’s easy to turn to the idea of a bouquet of flowers, but jewellery is a lovely gift that anyone will remember you by every time they put it on. Newbridge has a wide range of different styles at a pricepoint that won’t break the bank.

I was kindly gifted two items from their Moonkoin collection, which came beautifully presented in their own velvet suede powder blue pouches – which give them an extra nice touch when gifting to someone special.

The Moonkoin line is rose-gold plated line with colourful enamel detail too. There’s a few different colourways in this line, but it’s perfect for mums who either enjoy just a little pop of colour or really likes her brights. Both of my pieces are in the ‘Purple’ colourway, but I’d say that in person they’re definitely a lovely bright pink. But if your Mum loves green, blue, orange, fuschia, white or even black – there’s something for everyone.

I received the Moonkoin Long Pendant (£30) which is on a lovely long chain, but is easily adjustable – this is quite unusual in long necklaces and something I know my Mum would like as she has a scar she doesn’t like drawing attention to; and this would allow her to get the perfect placement with whatever she would choose to wear it with. The enamel features a fan style detail that feels a little bit art-deco whilst still being thoroughly modern.

Lastly, I received the Moonkoin Half Enamel Bangle (£24) which I personally will be keeping a hold of (Mum doesn’t wear bangles!) – it looks like it’s been half dipped into something and I love the style and looks subtly striking on the arm. It’s a nice weighty bangle, whilst not being so heavy that my arm feels like it’s being dragged down by it. I think I may also have to treat myself to the black version of this – I love how that one looks on the website and how it clashes against the rose gold colour.

I think both of these pieces are at a really good price for Mothers Day, or as a gift for someone else (or hey, it’s Payday, you can treat yo’self too!). I’ll definitely be back looking at Newbridge Silverware’s line in future – it’s of lovely quality and they have such a broad range of pieces and styles to pick from. What I particularly like about these is that they’re nice pieces of jewellery – but still are easily wearable for every day.

Happy Mother’s day to all the Mums who are reading – you’re all doing an ace job.
