Beauty Bay Sale Picks – September 2018

Just a quick post today to go over some of my picks from the latest sale from Beauty Bay. As usual there are some great products at great prices included in the sale and if you have any items you may have been eyeing now is the time to snag them up. Also I don’t wish to mention the “C Word” (Christmas) but at these prices it’s a great opportunity to start thinking about things to buy others or put on your own list. Of course this does not limit to you to my favourite type of gifting, a present to me from me.

Lunar Beauty Life’s a Drag Eyeshadow Palette – Was £37 / Now £22.19

I know Manny has been a controversial person of late and I’m guessing that may be the reason his palette has been so heavily discounted. However if it’s a palette you’ve been eyeing and you’re willing to remove him from the equation then this is an undeniably good deal. I was very tempted by this but I have so many palettes I’m still yet to review I’ve decided to skip it as I’m hoping that a couple of palettes I am eyeing more may be on sale for Black Friday. A highly tempting deal though!

Violet Voss Like a Boss Eyeshadow Palette – Was £43 / Now £30.09

Another highly tempting palette, if you don’t know Violet Voss is amongst my favourite eyeshadow palettes and I have three of their palettes. This one has some gorgeous dark wearable colours mixed with warm rich copper tones and neutrals. A great autumnal palette.

You can also find the Violet Voss Hashtag palette on sale here and the Taupe Notch palette here.

BH Cosmetics Shaaanxo The Remix – Was £18.00 / Now £14.40

Not the greatest saving but a good budget pick is the Shaaanxo palette – featuring two sets of nine eyeshadows in a mixture of tones from slightly colourful pinks and corals to cool toned taupes.

Violet Voss Pro Brush Soap / Was £15 / Now £12

I reviewed this at the start of the year and really enjoyed using it – it’s completely extra packaging made me more inclined to clean those brushes. Very effective at cleaning and I’m considering grabbing another whilst it is on sale. Great for removing caked on foundation as well as eye brushes that have turned to sludge brown from leaving it too long (we’ve all been there).

They also have a mini brush cleaner for £6.40 in the shape of a rose here too.

Lime Crime Diamond Dew Eyeshadows £12.60-£18.00

I have a couple of these and love them! They are a more colourful version of Stila’s offerings – I really love the shade Aurora which is a gorgeous lilac blue duo chrome which I’ve worn a lot which can be found for only £12.60. If you love the Stila Magnificent Metals, you won’t regret getting one of these for some more colourful pizazz.

My top five picks this time happen to all be pretty much eye related, but there’s pages and pages of deals which can be found on the site if you wish to browse the whole sale here.

  1. The Shaaanxo palette actually has 18 shades! I bought it earlier this year (not from Beauty Bay) and it is so lovely for a more basic palette that isn’t high end. The shadows are all really pretty and the formula of them is superb too 🙂 The Lime Crime Dew Eyeshadows all look stunning! How do they compare wear time wise to the Stila ones? x
