Tili Beauty Box Spring 2018

Tili Beauty Box Spring 2018

The theme of this box is “Violet Blooms”, and is the first time we’ve seen a gorgeous lilac and violet coloured box from the brand – purple is my favourite colour and this box is my favourite colour scheme they’ve done to date. The Tili Beauty Box Spring 2018 box is available to order now – but I’ve had mine for a couple of weeks* already and have been managing to get a good test of some of the products in already.

If you’re unaware, Tili (which stands for for Try It, Love It), comes from shopping channel QVC, it’s tended to mostly to be deluxe sample size item, with a few full sizes here and there – this box is no exception with two full size items. This box takes the surprise element out of ordering and you know exactly what’s going to be in the box thanks to social media always pre-teasing the contents and the product page showing exactly what’s going to be inside. I’ve always thought it would be nice if you wanted to avoid the tease and get a surprise for the box to be hidden when you order and you click to see the contents if desired.

Pixi Rose Tonic
And then there was Rose Tonic – this is a non-Glycolic toner alternative to Pixi’s Glow Tonic, which I’ve tried in the past and never been the hugest fan of – this however smells amazing and I’m currently on a bit of a rose skincare trial at the moment to try and fade some scarring and I’m hoping that this will become a welcome part of my routine.

Nails Inc Duke Street
I’m not normally the biggest fan of Nails Inc polishes, I find that they chip easily on me – but there’s something about this shade that I love – it’s that lilac hued grey that feels perfect for this time of year… when it should be spring, but crap weather keeps coming.

Caudalie Premier Cru Eye Cream

Caudalie is such an underrated brand by me – I think it’s because it always comes in beauty boxes means that I never end up buying anything despite enjoying the products I try for the most part. I’ve yet to try anything from their Premier Cru line but this product sounds amazing – it’s described as having a brightening effect with soft focus pigments that blur, reduce puffiness and even out the complexion of the under-eye whilst also containing anti-ageing ingredients.

Your Zookie Blackcurrant Vitamin Supplements

Not normally something I would buy but something I’d happily give a try to, this is something designed to be mixed in with smoothies, shakes, porridge or yoghurt, or taken on a teaspoon alone – and contains a mix of vitamins: thiamine, niacin, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid, Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, Vitamin E.

Magnitone Wipe Out Cloth
I’ve got a couple of these cloths from Magnitone as well as other brands and having another is really welcome. I know a lot of people are aware of what these are by now – but these are microfibre cloths which remove makeup with water no cleanser. I like these for when I’m wearing really heavy makeup to get makeup off quickly and easily, or for cleansers which aren’t the best at removing makeup as as follow up/pre-cleanse step. Magnitone have recently released these cloths in a pale grey-blue shade,  I like having different colours of cloths as I know which ones are clean and which ones have been used!

Elemis Superfood Cleanser
I recently finished up a deluxe size of the moisturiser in this range and I absolutely loved it, I can’t wait to see how the cleanser performs. I was expecting it to be a cream consistency because of the Superfood name – but it’s a gel so it’s got me even more curious to put it to the test.

Molton & Brown Purifying Shampoo & Conditioner with Cress
These are such handy sized products for travel, I’ve been away a couple of nights over the past month or so and these would have been such a handy product to take with me. When I think of Molton Brown I usually think of hand soaps and shower gels, but never haircare so I look forward to putting these to the test. The scent of these is quite light and fresh.

Vita Liberata Body Blur Skin Finish in Latte
This is potentially the type of self tanning kind of product I could get on board with, instant body blurring makeup – I don’t have the commitment ability for normal fake tan, the waiting is too impatient for me, however a product like this I could find myself using more frequently. This is as really nice non-orangey shade that looks natural tanned tone on the skin.

Percy and Reed Instant Dry Volumising Spray

Last but not least, probably my favourite item in the box that I’ve given a good test to so far. I’m not usually the hugest fan of voluming sprays but this one is a breath of fresh air. I normally find them to be sticky – but this one is dry without adding a lot of noticeable powdery residue. I have thick long hair and when I curl it I can find that my hair can weigh down the roots and can almost end up looking a bit lank – this is the perfect product for ruffling up the roots without being too much in the other direction. Dry Shampoos alone don’t go far enough on my thick locks to perk it up with volume quite often but this is proving a great in between product.

The Tili Beauty Box Spring 2018 box retails at £20 and contains a good selection of items to try – for me since the first couple of TIli boxes they’ve been missing makeup items for me – the box feels more balanced towards skincare and QVC have such a unique selection of makeup items which are hard to find in other places in the UK – I wish there was more included in the boxes, this one feels very sparse on that front and I tend not to group nail polish into the makeup category – however bar the vitamins there’s not a product in this box I haven’t already enjoyed trying or I’m excited to try. The box is available from today via QVC and has a total value of over £65, costing £20 including P&P.

Have you tried any of the items in this edition of the Tili Box?

*I was sent this box as part of an instagram advert campaign (to be posted the day this goes live!). However I wasn’t obliged to review the Tili Beauty Box Spring 2018 for my blog. As always post is based my thoughts and experience with the product.

This looks like an awesome beauty box. I prefer ones with more skincare as you don’t have to worry about shade matching and colours which suit different skin tones x

Looks a decent box. I love Percy & Reed hair products, I carry a mini can of their hairspray to keep any hairline fly-aways smooth. I held off as I’ve tried or got a few of these products already. Love the colour of the box this month though. X

Yes the purple is so eye catching this month! Yeah whilst thereโ€™s a lot of variety in this months box having tried a few items easily makes it not worth it!

I’ve been super curious about Pixi’s rose line especially the Rose Caviar Essence – I hope that Rose Tonic is good!
That Percy and Reed dry shampoo sounds wonderful – never heard of that brand before. Will you be able to purchase the full size once this one is finished?

Yes that’s on my list to try! I’ve picked it up several times!
Yes it’s an easy-ish brand to get a hold of here – I rarely see it in shops (just because I live in a terrible area!) but it’s easy enough to find online!

I’m really intrigued by those Magnitone microfibre cloths now! I had no idea that they were a thing (for the face). ยฃ20 seems like a rather good pricing for such a good selection of products that are actually not drugstore at all.

I got this box too, thought it was excellent value for the products included, sure the nails in and percy and reed products get you the moneys worth on their own ๐Ÿ˜€
