I can’t avoid the sales on the Beauty Bay, thanks to them texting me to alert me that a sale has started. I’ve just had a few goodies from them on Black Friday. I’m pre-anticipating that part of my Christmas gift will be money – as it always is, and I didn’t want to risk some of the items I wanted being out of stock when it came to undoubtedly wanting to place an order later on.
Natasha Denona 5 Palette in #09 – (Reduced £40 > £28) – link
I’ve been wanting a Natasha Denona palette for ages, particularly one that’s super metallic and glittery as I’m sure everyone by now has heard just how incredible they supposedly are. I don’t think I could have bought myself to spend £40 on this palette, but £20 is a lot more bareable. They seem to have constantly been in the sale – a tempting colour way for me has never been in the sale but this one is perfect. Super metallic golds and silvers it’s perfect for this time of year. Definitely keep your eyes peeled for a review on this.
Coloured Raine Matte Lip Paint in 24seven – (Reduced £14 > £9.60) – link
Coloured Raine is a brand which has only recently come onto my radar, but I’ve heard and seen many great things about the brand on instagram recently, and it’s another brand to put in my liquid lipstick comparison which I’m hoping to get prepared between Christmas and new year. This is exactly the kind of colour I like – a beautiful wearable pink, but it’s slightly deeped and a perfect choice for winter. I’ve swatched this at the end and oh my, this doesn’t budge, can’t wait to try it on the lips!
Morphe Deluxe Round Blending Brush – (Reduced £4.50 > £3.60) – link
I don’t seem to have enough blending brushes at the moment, I’m stuck in a loop of wearing different colours day to day, which means I can’t clean my brushes quick enough to have enough of them to see me through the week. I also haven’t tried Morphe before I was tempted to get several of these but not knowing the quality I was unsure as to how they’d fair.
Makeup Geek Blush in Heart Throb – (Reduced £14.25 > £9.98) – link
I’ve been desperate to try a MUG blush for ages, so when I spotted them in the sale I swiped one up straight away. I picked the shade Heart Throb, which is a gorgeous neutral peachy shade, I have a lot of brighter peaches, but this one is slightly more subdued, I had a shade like this used on me in MAC a few weeks ago and I really liked how it looked so this was a perfect choice and I think I’ll get a lot of wear from it (it might even replace Estee Lauder’s Peach Witty as my go to!). They also had the pans on offer for £6.48, but I know I’m way more likely to use it if it’s kept with my other blush compacts rather than stored away as my custom palettes are pretty much purely shadows.
Mario Badescu Grab and Go Duo (Reduced £16 > £11.20) – link
I’ve had my eye on the Mario Badescu drying lotion for a few weeks after hearing Zoella talking about it in her November favourites, it was cheaper to buy this set which came with the Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater. I have one persistent spot on my temple which has been there for about 6 months, nothing has ever came out of it, but it’d dry and lumpy permanently, I’m desperate to try and get rid of it pre-wedding and I’m hoping this magic potion might help it out. I love MB skincare and I’m starting to run dangerously low on the seaweed cleanser which I love, I can see another order coming early January to replenish, I meant to get it this time but forgot!
Have you tried any of these?
The Beauty Bay sale has some great picks if you’re in last minute need for some stocking fillers or people to you’ve forgotten about completely! They do ship internationally for free (although it probably won’t arrive in time for Christmas!)
