Boots Haul – November 2016 & Giveaway

Thanks to that massive bloody pile of empties that took a whole week’s worth of posts to talk about (220 products if you missed it), I’ve been left with stuff that I have genuinely totally cleared my stash of, so I had to pop into boots to get a few bits and before I knew it I’d spent just short of £40!

Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment (£8.49), Lee Stafford Heat Protection Mist (£6.49) & Lee Stafford Dry Shampoo (£4.99) (3 for 2 Offer)

If you saw my empties you’ll see that I finished up 5 tubs of the Hair Growth treatment, that stuff I’m crediting to the rapid hair growth that I’ve had in the last year has all stemmed from the point if using this product. I’ve noticed my hair is starting to get thicker at the root, so I’m continuing to use this. I’ve ran out of heat protection spray again and I used to use this a lot in my teens and I haven’t had it since then, I can never pinpoint whether a heat protection spray is doing anything, but the Lee Stafford Range smells amazing so I’ll take it regardless. Last up a dry shampoo, I have a bit of Aussie’s dry shampoo left which is my favourite to date, but I am on the verge of running low – but Lee Stafford haircare was on 3 for 2 and I’ve never tried their dry shampoo so I decided to give it a whirl.

Yes to Coconuts Conditioner (£3.99)

At the moment I’m using loads and loads of conditioner, since the weather turned cold my hair seems to have gone very dry and brittle and I’m needing to leave conditioner on like a mask each time I wash for it to be remotely manageable. I’ve never tried anything from the Yes to haircare range and it was a reduced from £5.99 to £3.99 so I decided to try it, the coconut range is the one for dry hair.

Soap & Glory Kick Ass Powder (£12.00) & Soap and Glory Supercat Liner (£6.00)

Now I’m writing up this I’ve realised that I picked up the wrong powder from Soap and Glory – I meant to pick up one heck of a blot – but never mind this has good reviews so I won’t swap it! I’ve been without a pressed powder for quite some time as I’ve been trying to finish up some loose powders but decided I needed one back again. I’ve not tried anything from Soap and Glory makeup line yet and heard good things about their powder (all be it one heck of a blot!) but Boots reviews are reassuring so I’ll keep it. I also picked up their Supercat liner as I just fancied trying something else and again I’ve heard food things and they had an amazing GWP if you spent over £15…

Soap & Glory Beauty-full House (Free)

How good is this? Containing full sized Thick & Fast mascara, Glow all Out highlighter & Sexy Mother Pucker lipgloss in a LE shade. I was so tempted to keep this for myself but I’ve decided to give it away, (whilst considering spending another £15 on S&G Makeup to get another). Worth £23 this is a total bargain if you’re going to spend £15 or more!

    1. Rachael,I’ve been following your blog for EVER(and your Twitter and IG),and you always seem to find the greatest products at the best prices.I’ve heard people rave about Lee Stafford, and as far as Soap And Glory…omg.I’ve only tried minis of their handcream and body butter but I have yet to find a scent that rivals them, seriously,or a product that moisturizes my dry Winter skin like S&G.
Their makeup must literally be AWESOME.I think they are such a unique brand too. That highlight is calling my name!
You rock and thank you for your always informative, continuously sweet, funny, and honest reviews, hauls, and any other posts you put up. I love reading your thoughts.
So,thank you for this chance.I try not to enter a giveaway unless it’s something I need or I am really really interested and excited, to give others a chance.Since I am currently replacing basically my*entire* makeup collection after an unfortunate event,I am joining in on this giveaway.Plus, the products are *amazing*!Thank you,Rachael.

      1. Aww thanks Crystal, you’ve made my Monday a whole lot better with your kind words!
Oh no, I can’t imagine what’s happened for you to need to replace your whole collection – that sounds like a nightmare!
I really like the scent of S&G body products but I’ve never found any that have impressed me yet, I had a bad reaction to their newer shower jellys which made my arms flare up and go spotty and a bad reaction to a cleanser in the past which has made me wary, hopefully I’ll have better luck with their makeup line as it looks such a fun line!
Thank you for following sweet, Good Luck 🙂 xxx

  1. That’s the great thing about empties, you can go out and replenish your stash! I’ve never tried anything from Soap & Glory (I’m not sure it’s sold in NZ) but that gift set sounds lovely! Of course I follow you here and on Twitter and I’ve RT’d as well. “I’m entering” xx

  2. If you’re anywhere near Birmingham or able to travel to the clothes show, Lee Stafford has a stand there and does a massive bag of all his products for about £20! I buy one every year, it’s my favourite hair brand! I love soap and glory too, not a big fan of their make up,except their eyeliner felt tip, but their bath and body products are lush,

  4. That’s so amazing a hair product that really lives up to the claims. Makes sense to stick with it. I’m going to be using the Lee Stafford Coco Loco Genius Lotion that you sent to me soon since I just finished up my latest hair styling cream.

  6. It’s such a coincidence that you’ve posted about Soap and Glory because just today I’ve been thinking of making a soap and glory post because I was using the scrub and body butter and heel cream earlier on and was like so wow I forgot how much I love this stuff ! – I’m definitely entering 🙂 Great post! xx

  8. Omg I didn’t realize that YesTo had a hair care line! I’ll have to look into it because my hair needs some TLC!
And that SuperCat liner, you must tell how good it is. I’ve never tried anything from the Soap & Glory brand yet but I want to. Just not sure which products to get lol.
    Sweet haul! 😀

    1. They don’t have a massive selection here maybe 10ish products, but the coconuts
One is for the dry hair and it’s good so far!
I think thus always been my problem when I’ve stopped off at a stand, I look at it all and have no idea what to pick. Already prepping a post on the super cat liner, took product shot pictures yesterday ready for when I’ve used it!
