Feel Unique & W7 Outlet Haul – Urban Decay, Fleur De Force & Pick N Mix

I haven’t bought any new makeup for ages – the bits I picked up in Milan were my last splurges and before that it had been about another month since I’d bought anything new. I was getting to the point where I did really need to buy a new foundation, I’ve ploughed through anything that currently matches my skin-tone and I’m at the point where I was about to run out. I had several £5 discount vouchers for referring people (annoyingly I could just use one) and it made Feel Unique the cheapest place to pick up the foundation, and other item I wanted, so off I went to get what I needed.

Urban Decay De-Slick Make-Up Setting Spray Travel Size (£9.00)

feel-unique-w7-outlet-haul-october-2016-urban-decay5

I’ve never got on with setting sprays – I’ve never been able to say that I’ve enjoyed using them or noticed any difference when it comes to the longevity or appearance of my makeup. However all the ones I’ve had have come via a beauty box so I’ve never picked one out for myself (apart from MAC Fix+ which I used for eyeshadow). For a long time I’ve wanted to try one of the Skindinavia sprays (I remember Michelle1218 taking about them years ago), but since they’re harder to get hold of I thought I’d try the much loved and coveted ones from Urban Decay, and actually Skindinavia make these for Urban Decay – so technically I have got one. I couldn’t decide between their classic All nighter spray, or their De-slick for oily skin, but decided to target my skins main problem oiliness. I bought the sample size, and I may retry the All Nighter Version if I do like this – before deciding which is better for me and buying the full size versions.

Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation in Shade 2 (£27.00)

feel-unique-w7-outlet-haul-october-2016-urban-decay6

I’ve been eyeing this since it was announced, we had to wait a little longer to get it in the UK. I’d planned to order it on Debenhams a few weeks ago after I’d finally worked out what shade I thought I was going to be with thanks to the website Findation, as I’ve never actually tried UD bases at all. When I went to order however shade 2, the one I thought I needed was out of stock. I’d totally forgotten that Feel Unique sold Urban Decay, and with the discount code I also had I thought it would be the time to buy! I’m on the last legs of a foundation which I’m going to try and finish before I start this, but I’ve finished I think 3 foundations since my last empties, so I deserved another… right?!

Fleur De Force Lipglosses in Starlight, Starry Starry Night & Lucky Star (£2.05 Each)

feel-unique-w7-outlet-haul-october-2016-urban-decay4

I took a look in their Outlet/Sale section and spied all of the Fleur De Force Cosmetics reduced massively. I’m a big fan of the two glosses that I’ve got (review of one here, I’ve never got around to doing the other). I don’t know whether these are being discontinued, repackaged or maybe FeelUnique will no longer be a stockist, but these were on their way out and I couldn’t resist picking them up. Fleur revealed in her recent Q&A that there’s more coming from her cosmetic line so I’m not sure what the reasons are for this. I actually picked these up not for myself but for my big giveaway at Christmas time. They’re the best glosses I’ve used! Now is a good time to buy if you’ve been thinking about it, they might not be around for much longer.

Pick N Mix Selections

feel-unique-w7-outlet-haul-october-2016-urban-decay3

I included a Pick and Mix Selection with my order (you can see more on the explanation of Feel Unique’s Pick n Mix here). But essentially I didn’t have to pay delivery as it was included as part of my order and over £40. I opted for the Emma Hardie Primer as I enjoyed the cleansing Balm I got last time from my last pick n mix choices (and was tempted to pick it again!) but thought I’d give her primer a go this time as it was a decent size for a primer sample (7ml). I chose an Miller Harris fragrance in Etui Noir as I’ve heard good things about Miller Harris fragrances but never tried, picked this on a whim out of the three choices, it had Noir in it so sounded wintery and warm, legit reason right? There was only one choice in the makeup department, I guess the most things people want to try is makeup, so I picked up the Benefit License to Blot, which is an instant oil blotting stick, to be honest that sounds gross to me, but I’m willing to try. I picked up the Bioderma Foaming Gel, I’ve not tried anything other than their Micellar waters so I’m intrigued to try something else from their line. Finally a mini Caudalie hand and nail cream, I’ve had this before and liked it and thought it would be a really nice size to take around in my handbag.

Complimentry Samples

feel-unique-w7-outlet-haul-october-2016-urban-decay2

For spending over £30 I also got two samples with my order, only one of the selections available wasn’t aftershave, so I opted for theElemis Sp@Home Botanical Shower Cream, which I think I may have had in a Love Me Beauty Box last year, it’s teeny 7ml so just a one use pop but oh well! I let Ben pick the second and he opted for the Zadig & Voltaire This Is Him! Aftershave sample, I know Zadig & Voltaire is a big fragrance brand in Europe and I’ve just started to see it coming into Boots here, so Ben has a sample to try out.

W7 Outlet

I didn’t expect to be adding to this haul it was already written, photos taken and ready to go – and ended up unexpectedly hitting up my local W7 Outlet shop. I didn’t get any makeup, but 2 bits I’m particularly excited about – it wasn’t worth a separate post so I’ll just include them here.

Matrix Colour Bloom Hair Mask  – £3.99

feel-unique-w7-outlet-haul-october-2016-urban-decay9

I’ve totally run out of my hair masks and wanted something to tie me over for a few weeks until I get around to placing an order on Superdrug online for some more of my favourite from Vatika (I’ve heard they’ve got a new one coming out which I’m eager to try so I’m waiting patiently), but the change in weather has seen my hair go very dry at the ends so hopefully this will help. It’s also a colour conditioning one and I’ve just toned my ombre a little darker so hopefully this will help it stay around. This smells amazing, I haven’t used it yet but it’s smells like light floral mixed with cotton.

W7 It’s Magic Makeup Removal Cloth – £3.99

feel-unique-w7-outlet-haul-october-2016-urban-decay7 feel-unique-w7-outlet-haul-october-2016-urban-decay8

These are definitely new to W7 – or atleast my store, I regualrly take a look at their tools sections as they have Real Techniques in there for a little bit cheaper and I’m always tempted. This was the last on the shelf – I’m sure you’ve all seen these facial cloths (Makeup Eraser) which claim to remove makeup in a swipe without any product, just water. I’ve been tempted to get one but they’re close to £16, so I’m hoping this will do the job. If it’s good I can see myself picking up several more – W7 are normally good at their dupe products.

W7 Shade & Switch – £2.99

feel-unique-w7-outlet-haul-october-2016-urban-decay10

Again another dupe of a higher priced product, and one I haven’t seen before in my store. I’ve been eying the original one from Vera Mona on the Beauty Bay (£10+), but BH Cosmetics and Sephora also make their own versions. Like above high hopes for this as W7 do copies really well. This is a dry sponge designed to give you the ability to instantly remove product on eye brushes and reuse instantly with another shade without it becoming wet.

If you haven’t ordered from Feel Unique before, please use my referral code here and it will give you 15% off your order. Oh and they do international shipping, so places like Austrailia, Europe, USA and Canada – if you want a place to pick up products from Zoella, Tanya Burr and Fleur De Force, this the place to go, as well as host of other british Brands you might find difficult to get elsewhere.

Have you tried any of these? Have you been shopping for new makeup recently?

I did end up trying it out on Sunday, I couldn’t help myself – first impressions are good so far, but really didn’t wear it long enough to make a proper decision on wear time etc yet! The pick n mix service is great if you’re placing an order it’s definitely worth it to get some interesting samples you wouldn’t try otherwise.
The W7 Shop near me started as a bit of a dud, but over time it’s getting better and better – they get more interesting stuff each time I visit! xx

Oh my goodness that pick and mix idea is so good?! Definitely need to check that out the next time I need to make an order. Lovely post too 🙂 xxx

    Great haul!
Yes, if you finished 3 foundations in the last 6 months, you deserve another foundation. It’s in the rule book, I didn’t make that up! I’ve heard great things about that UD All Nighter Foundation. 🙂
Those Fleur lipglosses look amazing and at only £2.05? 😮
This W7 outlet sounds amazing! I remember you picked up some stuff before. Their profducts are already so cheap – it’s almost redundant to have an “outlet”. I’m curious about how you find that magic cloth… I tried something similar a while back and I didn’t find it cleaned my makeup well.

    • October 25, 2016 / 2:09 pm

Yes it’s a fab outlet, now has a little Stila section as well which I will be checking out in depth at some point! I tried the cloth last night for the first time and it did do the job, I followed up with a Micellar water and there was nothing there. I’m not sure I’m sold on it though, I kinda felt like I wasn’t clean because I hadn’t used a soap!
You have one of those fleur glosses, you just haven’t used it yet 😉
I did end up caving and trying the foundation on Sunday (the fashion post from yesterday I was wearing it), but didn’t wear it long enough to make a proper judgement. Applied very nicely and nice coverage, thinner than I was expecting.

These outlets seem so awesome! I had a great time at Heathrow once, testing out all the Miller Harris perfumes on display. There was a rose scent I really liked – overall it was a really well done line.

    • October 25, 2016 / 5:08 pm

I had a quick whiff of it yesterday, but didn’t want to waste a spray – Think I’m going to like this one, perfect pick for autumn! I can already see me falling in love with it! The packaging of the line looks really pretty too!

  6. October 25, 2016 / 5:14 pm

Awesome haul! I’ve always wanted to try Fleur de Force lip glosses – you picked up some great colours for the fall/holiday season.
Have heard great things about the UD foundation. I’m using the UD Weightless foundation, which I bought before the All Nighter line came out. I’m loving it, and I’m sure the All Nighter is just as good, if not better!

  7. October 25, 2016 / 6:49 pm

I have the All Nighter Foundation at the moment and I have to say i’ve not quite made my mind up yet. I’m quite fair but the girl matched me to shade 1.0 and I just think its too light! I’m going to keep persevering tho! If you’re looking for another new foundation, check out the Too Faced Born This Way foundation! I’ve just written a review on it and I absolutely love it!! xxx

    • October 25, 2016 / 7:21 pm

I went a shade lighter because you’d said about what the girl had said and I should have gone for 2,5, I had to warm it up with bronzer when I wore it but I think I’m still quite tanned at the moment and it’ll suit me in the next month or so I’ve looked at that and not seen great reviews for oily skin with it but I have been tempted

      • October 25, 2016 / 8:02 pm

See that’s exactly what she said to me and when I have bronzer on it looks like a good match but initially I’m ghostly! The only thing is the undertones change so 2.5 would have pink undertones I’m lead to believe so it might not suit your skin tone. That’s why I got 1.0 as i thought 2.0 would be too dark! I absolutely love it! I have combination skin that can get oily through the t zone and honestly it’s gorgeous!! X

  8. October 25, 2016 / 8:45 pm

The sephora bush cleaning pad works pretty good 😉

  9. October 26, 2016 / 12:35 pm

I am waiting for the UD oil free setting spray review. I use the all nighter, but frankly don’t see much of a difference on my normal – oily skin. Have been wanting to try this one, but will wait for the review first. Haha!

  10. October 26, 2016 / 1:24 pm

I didn’t know W7 had a brush cleaning sponge, I will 100% be looking into it I have such a problem with using one of my eyeshadow brushes and wiping the previous colour all over 😂

    • October 26, 2016 / 3:15 pm

yes I’m guilty of reaching for the same brush a lot too, I’m hoping this will help and extend my laziness between washes! Haven’t tried it yet as I washed them all on Sunday, but I can’t wait to give it a go!

  11. November 8, 2016 / 9:33 am

If you have tried the UD All Nighter, I would love to know the difference between that and the De Slick..
