I feel like when you slap the word Miracle on a product, your expectations naturally go up about 100% to where they already were. It’s such a bold claim for me which shouldn’t be used lightly which is why I was super curious about the Aurelia Miracle Cleanser when it arrived in my Glamour Super Beauty box in June.
Immediately being bumped up my untried cleanser stash to try into number one position the cleanser made it’s way into my bathroom straight away and has been on the go ever since. The cleaners are accompanied by a Bamboo Muslin cloth – which is probably the nicest muslin cloth I’ve tried. It’s much softer and less scratchy than others whilst still having texture which allows you to buff away clean products easily whilst gently exfoliating the skin.
The brand Aurelia specialises in probiotic and organic skincare with ethically sourced ingredients that are also completely cruelty free.
In terms of the brazenly named product, it’s cream and feels very similar to hot cloth cleanser. The full size comes in a glass jar which looks more familiar to balm cleansers, and one cloth too. It’s definitely on the pricey side at 120ml for £38. This 30ml sample I’ve been using fairly sparingly, restricting it to one – two times per week.
The first thing I noticed about this is the scent, with essential oils from Chamomile, Eucalyptus, Rosemary and Bergamot, it’s very aromatic and feels reminiscent of a luxe spa. The texture feels slightly thinner than other cream cleansers that I’ve tried without being anywhere close to being watery, personally I prefer that – whilst I loved Liz Earle cleanse and polish there was something about how thick it was that I found difficult to massage into the skin.
Described as Aurelia as an intelligent creamy infusion which glides on the skin to remove impurities and makeup. Formulated to hydrate, brighten dull and re-hydrate skin to promote a complexion that’s dewy, lumious and more radiant. For those most part I agree with it’s claims, I kind of find it a little hard to tell whether it’s made my skin look more radiant, or whether it’s our recent bout of glorious sunshine that’s finally bought my complexion back to olive from the realms of being a little ghostly. It doesn’t deliver on makeup removal – especially on eye makeup for me. I’m left severely panda eyed, and that stops it from truly being a miracle product, a miracle product should do everything – a one stop cleanser rather than needing to combine with something else.
Overall I like the Aurelia Miracle Cleanser and I think if you’re into your premium skincare and cleansers you’d really love this too, as long as you don’t mind a double cleanse. It’s premium ingredients, no animal testing and science behind the line feel worthy of the price tag and I will miss it when it’s gone. I just have a cleanser list as long as my arm in my to review pile, so the need for me to restock in the near future isn’t there!

Oh, you had me until you said eucalyptus. I can’t do eucalyptus – that’s why the Liz Earle one was a bust for me too. In fact, I’m not too fond of the hot cloth type cleansers, I feel like they just smear stuff around rather than remove.
What’s your beef with eucalyptus? Don’t like the smell or doesn’t agree with your skin? It’s definitely the most noticeable note in this product too – no avoiding it!

I found out through using the Boscia makeup breakup cleansing oil which is also heavy on the eucalyptus. Yikes!
The name is a little over the top, but I did enjoy my sample of this. Lovely smell, though you definitely have to such a definite fragrance in a product (especially the eucalyptus).
The cloth was my fav thing about this cleanser: just so soft. It hasn’t washed well though, I guess it is a little too delicate.
Yeah I agree i don’t think I’ll be able to wash the cloth more than about 3 or 4 times before it will be a gonna! Xx
