Dear Hairspray…
I knew I liked you from the moment that we met – but forced myself into relationships with other cans in my drawer and finishing up every last drop of everything else in my collection before I let myself indulge in you again. It wasn’t until I repurchased you that I realised that it was more than a fondness – it was true love.
Always Yours – Rachael
The Rise n’ Shine hairspray from the Got2B range from Schwarzkopf was never something I’d seen any one talk about since I picked it up, and nor have I seen anyone talk about it since. I don’t know about you but hairsprays have always found a magical way of sticking at the back of my throat and making me feel really, really sick for ten minutes before it would wear off. When I found this one it was a revelation, this didn’t find a way of clinging to my tonsils and it actually smells good too – I think I remember reading somewhere they describe this as raspberry. Now if I’m being completely honest if that is the case – it does not smell like raspberry to me, but none the less it’s not an unpleasant smell in the slightest.
The spray is described as being great for creating volume as well as adding shine. I personally have enough hair thickness in general without wanting to add more, so the way I use this is when I put my hair up in a pony tail and want to tame down the fly-aways thanks to the hundreds of new fuzzy baby hair growth due to Lee Stafford Hair Growth treatments. It’s also great for helping my hair hold a curl, without adding that crispy texture that’s synonymous with other hairsprays that I’ve tried.
The best thing is – it’s cheap, if it’s not on offer in Boots, it’s on offer in Superdrug, the last time I picked it up it was £1.70. This can will last me months and months and by the time I need to rebuy it again it will be on offer. This is now my third can of the stuff and I can’t see me finding a favourite replacement any time soon. Since I first bought this it’s had the New sticker on the top and two years down the line it still does.
Overall I love this pink can! If you’re in the market for a new hairspray I recommend giving it a whirl!

Got 2 b has a lot of great products at an affordable price 🙂
Really do, such an underrated line!
Adore the pink can! Ha! I don’t use hairspray but my mom does – will rec it to her if I can find it here. <3 the letter 😉
I just may have to check this out! I’ve been a Tresemme devotee for ages.
When I first bought this I had a tresemme one in my hand but decided to try this one as it was cheaper! I have heard their good but I worry about the sticky feeling I get with every other hairspray coming back!
I don’t find Tresemme sticky. I especially like the ultra fine mist version they have.
I will look for that next time!
Hah I love this one too xx
