Look Incredible July 2016

Sorry for the repetitiveness of two beauty boxes one after the other, Look Incredible and My Little Beauty always seem to arrive the same or within a day of each other and I always like to get beauty boxes up straight away so if you wanted to subscribe you can get your hands on it.

After last month’s box which left me feeling a bit ‘meh’ I’m a little happier with this months arrival with a few more of the items piquing my interest in this months lineup.

look-incredible-giorgio-armani-502-lipgloss-pink

First up is the Giorgio Armani Wet Shine Lipgloss in the shade Pink 502 (£25.50 RRP), I’m left a little confused as my card listed a Giorgio Armani Copper Eye Pencil which I didn’t receive in my box – this isn’t the first time it’s happened! Personally I think I would have preferred the Copper pencil, but had I of not seen that I probably would have been really happy with the gloss! A pretty peachy pink shade – I wouldn’t call this a true pink as the name suggests, and is a colour I can see myself wearing. I’ve not tried anything from Giorgio Armani’s beauty line yet so I’m happy to have this to try.

look-incredible-urban-decay-lash-boost

Next up is the Urban Decay Lush Lash System (£28). Would probably be more excited about this if I didn’t wear lash extensions but I’m guessing the oils inside won’t agree with my lashes so will have to do more research as to whether I can use. This is the fifth box out of the six that I’ve been subbed to from Look Incredible that’s now had a lash product in, at least it’s not another mascara this time, but does still feel a little repetitive.

look-incredible-july-2016-ultrasun-spf

Next up is the Ultrasun Sports SPF50 (£25.99), this would be super handy for taking away with me but sadly it’s a too large for hand luggage so it can’t come along. Sounds like it would be great though as it’s listed as being great for everything outdoors including watersports. It’ll go into the cupboard for next year as I don’t think we’re going abroad this year, and I definitely won’t need an SPF 50 for my body with the summer we’ve had so far!

look-incredible-july-2016-nanshy-sponge

Next up was the Nanshy Marvel 4 in 1 Blending Sponge (£5.95), I’ve heard really good things about this sponge in the past but have never tried it. I have a whole bunch of ones currently on the go so will keep this aside until I need to pull a new one out! I do like the minty colour of this though, it’s distinctive against all the brighter coloured ones I have.

look-incredible-ciate-manicure-corrupted-neons look-incredible-ciate-corrupted-neons-pink

Last up is the Ciate Corrupted Neon Manicure set (£9.99), again this feels repetitive we only had a similar kind of set from Ciate in last months box and it’s a bit boring to see a similar product again. I query the price of this at a tenner again – as an instant google found these listed for £3.99 on Fragrance Direct. This comes with a bright neon polish that glows under UV light, neon glitter to sprinkle on top and a miniature of their UV topcoat.

This month feels better than last months box, but not quite as good as some of the other boxes that we’ve seen from Look Incredible. What do you think of this months box?

Blending sponge looks cool. I wonder if it is as good to use as it looks.

I see what you mean, it does seem to stick to the same categories and the nail polish is a bit of a nonsense here, as the colours are always the ones that are far from everyday. I do think it’s incredible they have an UD item in there though! Also, what’s your experience with eyelash extensions? I am still considering it.
I do think My Little Box killed it this month but hey, at least there’s no moisturiser here either! <3

I’m planning on writing up a post on my experience with lash extensions as I’ve been wearing them for about 4 months now, I love them! Planning on writing a pros and cons post on them.
I’m wearing the nail kit now, and it’s bloody crap!
I’ve had lots of good brands from this box in the past you wouldn’t expects – NARS, MAC & Bare minerals. I do love everything is full size rather than annoying one use samples!

What great brands! That Armani lipgloss looks really wearable – I hope you’ll like it.
I wonder if that makeup sponge will topple the Quo one? πŸ˜‰

I think I’m going to go pick another up of that Quo dupe I found and properly compare them with this and a RT one! It’s got the shape of the Quo with the angled edge of RT!
