Vatika Naturals Egg Protein Hair Mask Review

Vatika Naturals Egg Protein Hair Mask Review

If I’m grateful for visiting the Bloggers Ball for one reason it’s the discovery of the Vatika Naturals Egg Protein Hair Mask. I’m thoroughly glad I was given this mask to try because otherwise I think my chances of discovering it would have been close to zero.

I’m sure like me Vatika might not be a brand that you’ve heard of despite being sold in Superdrug and Tesco’s. At the bloggers ball we were told that the brand was popular throughout the middle east (and more premiumly priced too as it’s regarded so highly there) but wasn’t yet a household name here. Picking products to give us specific to our hair types I ended up with the Egg Protein Mask designed to help repair split ends and help damaged ends. The tub is a whopping 500ml size which is just less than double the size of similar masks from Lee Stafford.

And let me stop you right now – this is the best hair mask I’ve ever tried. Not only that it’s only £5.99 on Superdrug.

Egg Protein, I must admit was something I thought was going to smell absolutely terrible – despite that I’m someone who is always willing to tolerate a bad smell for a bit if it means it comes at price of having nice skin, or in this case hair. But I was pleasantly surprised to find the addition of honey to the formula gave a light scent to the product that was actually nice and pleasant to use – not just tolerable.

Directions for use are to apply to towel dried hair post-shampoo and leave on for 15 minutes before rinsing off. After the bloggers ball I was desperate to try this – out of everything, this was what I wanted to try first and to be honest I didn’t have the time to be jumping in and out of the shower (cause Game of Thrones was about to come on, you know!) so I squeezed out my hair and left it on for about five minutes whilst I speed shaved. I left my hair to dry out over night without any additional products being added and the next morning my hair looked like it had just been cut.

Not only did my hair look shiny and feel silky but it also had actually hidden the signs of split-end ridden, in need of a trim ombre locks. My hair has been quite frizzy at the top thanks to plenty of new hair growth from using the Lee Stafford Hair Growth range and it went a long way to helping reduce the signs of that too. The next time I went to wash my hair, I actually followed the instructions towel drying and leaving on for 15 minutes the results were much the same to look at but my hair felt even softer than it did the first time.

As I’m writing this up I’ve just checked and it’s currently on Amazon for £4.99. Go get the Vatika Naturals Egg Protein Hair Mask – I don’t think you’ll regret it. Next time I need to buy some new shampoo and conditioner, I know where I’m heading to try some more from the line.

This brand is also really popular in India. If you have an Indian shop near you you’ll find some of their other stuff too…cheaper sometimes

I love doing once-a-week hair masks. They really bring new life to otherwise dull locks! I haven’t heard of this brand, though.

Dammit, you can’t call this the best hair mask and it’s not available here! 😛
I saw it on Amazon.com but not on Amazon.ca – the .com doesn’t ship to Canada!
But glad that you found this gem from the Bloggers Ball.
