Since launching late last year, Coconut Lane has been making waves in the blogosphere with an Instagram worthy range of items. I’m really excited to have joined their ‘Coconut Queen’ Ambassador team as I had been starting to grow a list as long as my arm of items that I wanted to get.
Luckily/Unluckily there were a few items that were out of stock so it means when they restock I can go back for more items, and I’m looking forward to seeing what new pieces are introduced as I’ve already seen the range branch out since I’ve been obsessively stalking the website for a few months.
I can’t seem to stop myself buying sunglasses, especially coloured polarized lenses – they’re my favourite of them all. The styles of these remind me of some of my favourites from Quay Australia, a brand which seems to be creeping up in price each time I look at them. I struggled to choose between 3 pairs (before realising that one style was out of stock!), so ended up setting on two – both Cat Eye shaped, which are the most flattering on my face shape. The Marble Cali Sunglasses (£21) and the Luxe Blue Tropez Sunglasses (£22) are both totally up my street. I’m eyeing the pink pair of the Tropez ones when they come back in stock! Unfortunately the blue pair did arrive with a slight scratch on (which I photoshopped out to show how pretty they should be – as I couldn’t wait to get this up!), I’m waiting for a new pair to arrive.
Next up I took a gander at the Jewellery pieces, and yet again there was a lot I had my eye on. I decided to settle on this Rose Crystal Bangle (£12). I liked the look of this as whilst there is a hint of pink attached – a colour I don’t wear often, it’s dainty and simple enough to easily slip on with just about any outfit. Another bangle I chose was the Rose Gold Link Bangle (£9) which I thought would go really nice with my Michael Kors watch, I have a lot of Rose Gold jewellery, most of which is quite blingy with Swarovski crystals and gemstones, so I thought this simple link bangle would make a nice alternative whilst still looking smart.
Last up stationery, with a selection of very pretty patterned and coloured notebooks, it’s an area that at one point I had 6 of to get before reminding myself that I sorted out my stationery collection recently and definitely did not need any more! At A5 this is a handy little size that’s even handbag friendly but the grey and pink marble one I chose called Helter Skelter (£6) I thought would make a pretty background for some blog photos. Last but not least was a greetings card (£2.70) saying “Let’s Go Out Out”, I’m not sure if this has become an international phrase or something us brits only understand* the meaning of but at some point I plan to give this to one of my friends when we’re calling for a celebration of some kind – at £2.70, they’re not the cheapest cards you can buy, but they have some really funny phrases that you’ll struggle to find anywhere else. *Going out out means when you don’t just go for a quiet drink, it means you’re hitting every single bar/club in town and not coming home until 6AM!
I almost also chose a couple of prints for my beauty room, but I do have some I needed to hang, so I decided to wait and see what space I had left. But if you’re a fan of Mean Girls and like quoting the film, then there will be some must-haves for you in their collection. Light Up Selfie cases, and metallic marble print cushion covers all also feature in their growing collection of items and if you’re a fan of the whole ‘blogger asthetic’ marble, tropical and metallic theme – Coconut Lane is going to be a brand that you want to check out.
The prices I’m sure you’ll agree are incredibly reasonable – and not only that you can get yourself 20% off by using my refferal code ‘helplessdrying20′ too! Not to worry if you’re abroad they also ship internationally and cover just about every country from what I can tell!
What do you think of my picks? Have you bought anything from Coconut Lane, or can you see anything that you might want for yourself!?
