Lee Stafford Hair Growth Range Review

Lee Stafford Hair Growth Range Review

The Lee Stafford Hair Growth Range is something that I’ve seen a hundred times in Boots but I’ve always disregarded it thinking it wouldn’t actually work. When I heard one of my favourite bloggers, Rihanna from Robowecop mention this range in a video I decided to give it ago. And after 6 weeks of living in my shower I have made a decision as to whether it works for me or not.

I’ve said a couple of times that I’m both hoping to have long, healthy hair for my wedding next year, we’re just over one year away and it’s time to get preparing. Not only that I was suffering with bad breakage almost 2 months ago thanks to leaving it a little too long between washes and I want my hair to re-thicken back up again, Everyone always tells me how thick my hair looks, but I always, always want it thicker – I don’t ever ask for my hair to be thinned out!

This little collection of products smells the same as divinely scented core collection from Lee Stafford range so already it wins lots of Brownie points for simply smelling incredible. The shampoo is a surprising favourite for me, I have a lot of shampoos on the go which I’m trying to make my way through but i’m trying to make sure I reach for this once or twice a week. Besides any effect it might bring to promoting hair growth, this leaves my hair looking and feeling cleaner than just about any other shampoo I’ve tried, add to that my hair looks super shiny too, it’s a hard one to.

The For Hair That Never Grows Past A Certain Length Treatment, is designed to be used between shampoo and conditioner, and left on the scalp for 5 minutes before washing away and continuing with your routine. Personally, I like to merge these steps into two, the Treatment I just need to apply to my scalp, whilst the conditioner I just need to apply to the lengths, given they both sit for about 5 minutes before rinsing they actually make a time-saving duo when used together.

The Treatment has a consistency of a thin hair mask, whilst the conditioner is a lot thicker and creamier, Personally I find the Hair Growth Conditioner a bit difficult to use over others – I need a lot of conditioner in my hair, I have to slaver the lengths in order to make my hair manageable and comb-able, and I need so much of this to be able to do that – priced at £6ish a bottle I could easily finish this up within 3 or 4 uses. I tend to use something like Tresemme to brush through and then as it drips out with the comb re-top it up with this and leave it on for another few minutes before washing off and finishing.

It’s hard to say whether it’s a combination of the products creating the growth, or whether there is one product that’s responsible, but I have noticed wherever I part my hair at the moment I have just less than an inch of new hairs quite densely packed through my head, something that I have never, ever had before using this product. So not only is it encouraging hair that’s already there to grow longer, it seems like it’s stimulating the scalp and follicles into regenerating new hair quicker.

I’m almost out of the conditioner, I have maybe one or two uses left, I’m about two thirds of the way through the shampoo and I have a pot and a half of the treatment to use up. Like I said I have many shampoos and conditioners that I’m trying to use up so what I plan to do is while I’m finishing everything up in my shower (as I have a lot of products in there I just don’t love and I want them gone), I will continue using the treatment in the meantime. Hopefully I will continue to see a difference in the speed that the hair is growing.

Ooh, if it’s really stimulating new hair growth, that’s awesome!

This sounds promising although I’m still not convinced it’s responsible for the growth. At most, I think it could help with less breakage? But I’m glad it smells nice and all seem to work together well.

    • I’ve never seen my hair grow how it’s currently growing and it does coincide with when I started using it, personally I think it is but I’ll definitely see if there’s any change if I give it a break for a while!

Have you used it yourself how long before you could notice the change ??Thanks for the share! Please follow back

    • Hi liz, yes I have used this myself, I’d say it was around 5 weeks in that I started
To notice new hairs 1-1.5cm long growing at the scalp as that’s the point it started sticking up when it was fluffy from being freshly washed. Must have been growing between that time, that was just when I first noticed it 🙂
