I’m attempting a total no buy this month, I have a week off work at the end of the month for my friends wedding/to spend with our new puppy and I’m hoping to massively catch up on the backlog of things I have to review! I have done massively well this month on having a good sort out/declutter/reorganisation and use up – I have a massive 40 empties this month, so I find a little solace in that I’ve bought a lot, but I’ve also used a lot – and I’m continuing that into this month too, I’m trying to only have one product of the same type on the go at once, everything else is neatly stored away in individaul boxes e.g Cleansers to make it easy to shop my stash when I’ve ran out!

If you’re unfamiliar with this little series, click here and you can see my attempt to spend £25 a month since January on non-essential beauty spends. Let me know what you’ve been spending on this month and whether there’s anything you’ve tried that I’ve hauled!

Haha! At least you’re trying that’s the main thing!

I do love the breakdown and justification of “non-spends”

If I feel I’m going abit over board with a haul, I just throw a few bits of Men’s hair/skincare in there as a distraction, he never questions then!

Haha I know the feeling! My April spending was way off budget too oops!

Oh but you did get some amazing stuff in April! It also sounds like many of the items you got are absolute standouts (Sunday Riley set, W7 palette, Bourjois concealer etc)
I do think that having a new puppy will occupy ALL of your time so you won’t be shopping as much in May.
How’s the puppy name coming along?

    • The Sunday Riley set makes up for £5o something by itself, so that is a decent chunk of the money!
Well, my week off isn’t until the end of May, whilst Ben is off the week before with him – I just have to keep behaved until then!
We have a name to beat – ‘Charlie’, I keep going back and forth on it, finding it hard to decide -Dexter was a no brainer, that’s definitely the name and this time round it feels so much harder!

I like the name Charlie! A good blend of human and dog name! 🐶
