The Body Shop Haul

This month has pretty much been a write off when it’s come to keeping my spending of beauty non essentials to under £25. I’m not looking forward to seeing what my deficit is going to be at the end of the month. When I was going to purchase the lovely Harvain’s runner up prize this weekend – I couldn’t resist doing a spot of shopping for myself.

I’ve spoke about a couple of times, but out local body shop is in an outlet centre and it by far has the best deals in the entire Outlet center. A large chunk of the store is discounted compared to normal Body Shop prices, and on top of that the more you buy the more you save. Buying 4 or more items saves you 40%, and it can often mean that you end up spending less to indulge in buying 4 items or more.

Blue Corn Face Mask – £11 – w/ 40% Off = £6.60

I’ve think I’d heard of this mask and originally I was going to get the Vitamin E Mask as I’d remembered hearing good things about it. But then I saw this, claiming to be the mask best for Deep Pore cleasing I picked it up. For the past few weeks I’ve had the odd spot coming up and I’ve got some blackheads on my chin that I just don’t seem to be able to shift. When I got to the till the woman asked if I’d tried this before and said she loves it, so I’m hoping this will turn out to be great.

Moisture Foundation – £13 – w/ 40% Off = £7.80

I’d seen this a few times and whilst I’ve bought a few different foundations recently they all seem to be a little dark. so I picked this up. I was really impressed with the shade selection – the shades don’t go super dark, but they do have a lot shades suitable for fair skin. This seemed to match perfectly on my hand so fingers crossed it sits as well on my face.

White Musk Libertine EDP 60ml – £5 – w/ 40% Off = £3

You may be thinking, haven’t you already featured this recently – and yes it was in a beauty box just last week. This is a limited edition scent which makes an appearance once every year or two – and I’ve been loving it so far and reaching for it 4 or 5 times a week since getting it. Once I saw it had been reduced from £18 to £5 then with an extra 40% off I had get it. NO BRAINER, 60ml perfume for £3. Pfft anyone who says no to that is just a fool.

Shower Gel Pink Grapefruit – £4 – w/ 40% Off = £2.40

I’ve currently been using a Ted Baker Shower Gel which I got in a set at Christmas but it’s been making my skin a bit dry, and it basially doesn’t have any scent to it at all. I decided to get another of the Body Shop shower gels and I’ve not tried this one before, although had the scent in a handcream and really liked how sharp it is. It’ll be a good wake me up in the morning!

Colour Glide Lipsticks – £2 Each – w/ 40% Off £1.20

I bought one of these in my last Body Shop haul and I absolutely LOVE it. I don’t think I’ve gotten around to reviewing it yet, but these have sadly been discontinued now. I picked out 3 that I thought would be the nicest looking – there was no samples out to see what the shades were and they were all sealed, so I was limited to the label for guidance – and they’re all in a similar range. These all swatch very differently to one another, and the finish is also very different to the Rose Quartz one I already have. At least at £1.20 it’s no big loss if one – or all – of them turn out to be not as great as the original one I fell in love with. I’ll plan a post comparing them all!

Left to right the shades I picked up were Pink Ginger, RubySparkle and Pinkette.

Cool haul! Haha, I was just at an outlet mall last weekend (for the first time in eons) and checked out TBS, too. The deals we had didn’t seem as good as yours, though. I almost bought more nail polish, which was B3G3, but decided against it. Trying to stay under budget, too. LOL!

There were a few nail polishes in the clearance section I almost bought, but talked myself out of it as I’ve been reaching for gel so much recently as I seem to rarely have time to sit down once or twice a week at the moment!

So amazing you were able to snag another bottle of White Musk Libertine EDP for only £3!!! 😮
We don’t have the Moisture Foundation here – I’d be interested to hear what that formula is like. I just started using the Fresh Nude Foundation and so far so good!
Can’t wait to see your March deficit too lol! 😛

Oh you meanie! I was looking for the fresh nude one originally but this was the only foundation in the outlet which makes me wonder if it’s been discontinued. Would have been silly to turn down the perfume!
