Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Hot Shots Review

Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Hot Shots

As much as I’ve liked the Bleach London Silver Shampoo up until now – 3 months after having it coloured, it’s become harder and harder to keep on top of keeping brassiness away. When I was visiting my sister a few weeks ago I decided to stop into boots and see if I could find any extreme silver shampoos and stumbled across the Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Hot Shots treatments.

In each sachet there’s a dose of glorious shimmering violet shampoo and I’ve found that it’s done a great job at getting rid of the golden tones which aren’t meant to be there, to a more platinum hue that I signed up for. It doesn’t 100% change my hair back to how it was when I left the salon, but it wasn’t going to either given after it was bleached it had a white toner left on it for a short space of time too.

These are pricey at £7.99 for a pack of 4 sachets  what I have found is that the product foams quite well, and even with my hair which his relatively long and thick, you can probably get away with splitting the sachet in two. Needing to use this once a week, means you can stretch this packet to last you 2 months if you’re hair length is similar, or shorter you might manage 3 uses per sachet. The only thing I have noticed doing it this way is that it does start drying out and the consistency gets thicker – so it will all depend how long you go between washes as to whether you can stretch out the uses per sachet.

I’m at a logger head of what exactly to do with my hair – I’m already thinking a year and a bit down the line to our initial planned timescale of my wedding and thinking – what do I want my hair to be like, and I’m not sure if keeping my ends blonde is the best thing for it – but the thing which is frustrating me most at the moment is the colour so I’m glad it’s back on track slightly.

I think it’s time to book a trip to see my hairdresser, who will also be my bridesmaid – as she’s my boyfriends sister, get my hair re-toned and trimmed in the short term, and decide what to do get it as healthy as possible for May/June next year.

If you’ve got any tips for keeping your hair strong or growing quickly please let me know, I’ve been eyeing up one product to try – but at £32 its not the cheapest or widely reviewed but I’m curious so I might give it a go. Let me know in the comments if you have tried the Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Hot Shots.

In my salon we like to use a clarifying shampoo on the hair before using the silver shampoo. It helps to make it take to the silver tone better and it sometimes even makes it last a bit longer in between.
