Beauty Protector Beauty Cream

I love the smell of this multipurpose hand and body cream, smelt deliciously almondy like a macaron shop. I used this solely as a hand cream due it’s small size, this proved popular with everyone who smelt it also when I pulled it out everyone wanted to use it too. The only downside is the packaging – whether it’s just a trait of the sample size or not but it became difficult to get product out.

Repurchase? Maybe – given it’s solely available on Birchbox maybe if I built up points in future.

Skin & Co Sicilian Body Gel

Received in December’s Birchbox, this was a nice light citrusy scent, there’s not much to say other than that!

Repurchase? No

Gucci Premiere Shower Gel

I’m not one to purchase high end shower gels – and I only ever get them when they come in a gift set, or in this case September’s Cohorted Beauty Box. I kept this and only used it on special occasions as a nice treat. Nice musky scent, I’d think about buying the actual perfume of this in future.

Repurchase? Not the shower gel – maybe the fragrance

OZ Naturals Olive and Jojaba Oil Nourishing Souffle

Reviewed here already – an in shower moisturiser similar to Nivea but a lot more nourishing. I think those with dry skin would really enjoy this – but it was a bit wasted on my skin and given it’s pricey – I don’t think it gave enough benefit to me personally for how much it is. But if you’re looking for an intensive in shower moisturiser do give this a go.

Repurchase? Probably not

The Body Shop Virgin Mojito Body Scrub

I wrote a full review of this product up here, this smelled divine, fresh and minty like a real mojito. Unfortunately it was last summer’s limited edition scent so I won’t be able to get my hands on it again. I would try some of the others from the Body Shop too – I’ve been eyeing the raspberry one for a while so when I’ve finished my current scrubs I may give that a go.

Repurchase? If they ever bring back the scent yes!

Vivienne Westwood Naughty Alice Body Lotion

I’ve had this since my very first bottle of Naughty Alice, and I’m now finishing up bottle number 4! I decided it was time to use it up as I’d been perpetually saving it for special occasions, but it was getting to the point in it that the fragrance wasn’t very strong so I decided to use it all up. A nice moisturiser with a lovely scent – I have about 20 body lotions so the need to repurchase another is not needed!

Repurchase? No

Everything Else

Superdrug Nail Polish Remover

Not the best nail polish remover in the world, not the worst either. Didd the job but not the best on glitters.

Repurchase? Maybe – wouldn’t avoid it, wouldn’t actively repurchase it.

Asda Skin System Cosmetic Wool Pads

I really dislike the ASDA cotton wool pads but had to buy these out of desperation for needing something and it’s the only shop I was able to get to. These are small and the cotton wool tends to break up and go fluffy, disappointing and annoying.

Repurchase? Not if I can help it

WIlko Little Ones Large Cotton Ovals

Much better cotton pads that are strong and don’t defragment as you try scrub them on stubborn nail glitters or really rubbing the eye area with micellar waters.

Repurchase? Yes
