Zoella Scrubbing Me Softly Body Scrub Review

Zoella Scrubbing Me Softly Body Scrub

While the Zoella products are undoubtedly popular in the teenage market, I’m sure there’s a lot of us 20 and 30 somethings who can’t help me curious about the line, but have no idea if they’re products which are just suited to those who are buying it because they love Zoella – or whether the products are actually worth spending money on. Today we’re talking about the Zoella Scrubbing Me Softly Body Scrub.

I reviewed Zoella’s hand cream – and lots of people seemed interested in the product for that reason, wondering if the line was actually any good for adults who are used to spending money we’ve earnt rather than pocket money. So when I ran out of body scrub I decided to give Zoella Scrubbing Me Softly Body Scrub a go.

The first thing I noticed about this – other than the sweet, girly trademark packaging – was the scent, it’s not as overpowering, sickly or girly as I imagined it was going to be. It is scented, and it’s one that I think reminds me of blueberries – a scent which is fruity without being something like strawberry where it’s completely sweet.

The texture of the product is also very thick, it holds its shape completely until you actually come to dip your fingers in and it feels thick and buttery, it contains cocoa butter which feels very moisturising as you massage into the skin. I’m not someone with particularly dry skin and just use a body scrub to make sure I don’t get any dry patches, rather than trying to actually get rid of them and this is perfect for me. It’s not harsh at all – so it depends really as to what you want from a scrub as to whether that will be enough to satisfy your scrubbing needs.

The texture of Zoella Scrubbing Me Softly Body Scrub feels like a sugar scrub with a few micro beads peppered through designed to massage and exfoliate the skin. As you rub the product over your skin it melts down and the cocoa butter formula leaves the skin feeling nourished too, and it’s cut the need for me to then use an in-shower moisturiser on top of this too.

So far I’ve been using the Zoella Scrubbing Me Softly Body Scrub for a couple of weeks and I’m really enjoying it. I picked it up for a mere £3, but is not normally more than £5-6. A complete bargain, product and one which I’m already thinking I’ll need to repurchase again when I run out!

Have you tried Zoella’s products yet? What do you think of the line – just for teens or for us twenty somethings too?

Thank you for doing this review! I’ve been wondering whether Zoella’s products are worth it. I love a good body scrub so perhaps I’ll pick this up next time I run out.

Thanks Paige – I think there’s lots of us wondering whether it’s good or whether it’s just a brand name for teens! Nice nourishing scrub that isn’t too harsh on the skin! I’d recommend it especially if you can get it on offer like I did for about half price! xx

I think I’d definitely get it on offer, it sits around other well known brands price-wise who I trust more! xx

Order off feel unique – offers free international (or if not free I think it’s reasonable!) and will open you up to lots of brands you can’t get in the US 🙂 xxx

Helpful post 🙂 I bought the Zoella Body Mist from the Tutti Fruity range and have been really happy with it so far. As a 20 something year old I think these products are also suitable for adults! Might give the body scrub a try.

I love the scrub. When I heard it was being discontinued I bought another 3 so I won’t run out for a while 😂 x

They’ve got rid of the Tutti Fruity range to make way for the new range. I don’t think it’s coming back at all x

No I don’t think there is.
