GoCustomised Phone Case Review

Personalised phone cases are something that I’ve admired for ages, they’ve been somewhat of a growing extension to our line up of fashion accessories, and what’s more you that one that’s been personalised?

When I got my last iPhone I patiently waited for the new gold version which was on back order for an additional 3 weeks over every other colour – My family then mocked me for the next 2 years whilst I had a phone cover on it which covered the gold so you couldn’t tell why they hell I had waited so long. When I got my iPhone 6s in October I was keen not to have a repeat of past events, and instead all the cases I’ve purchased had some element of transparency so you could at least see peeks of the gold shining through.

Customised cases I’ve loved the idea of, but I’ve never been tipped over the edge to do actually do it myself, normally I find the options limited on the website for customisation – and have never seen any before that print on clear cases. So when GoCustomized* offered me a case to have a go for myself and try out of course said yes.

There’s lots of different options on the website, other than phone models which they cover most bases on, there are black, white, coloured and clear options, and the choice of soft rubber or hard plastic cases or alternatively if you’re looking for wooden, flip or leather cases. The world is your oyster for what you want to customise when it comes to phone cases.

The website itself was incredibly easy to use, with options within the page to create a design based on pre-uploaded design elements or add text, with as many layers as desired. I decided to opt for my ‘nail polish splash’ from my blog header – and what I really like about it was that it shows transparency on the design – some parts of the design I filled in with white behind the design and some bits I decided to leave kind of transparent to see what happened, and the bottle itself looks like it’s spilling out and half empty (clever if I do say so myself).

I ordered the case on the 23rd December, and already had a dispatched notification on the 24th (Christmas Eve!) which I found quite impressive, and even with Christmas post it arrived by 31st December.

I’ve had the case for just over 2 weeks, and the design is still perfect and intact at this point, I opted for the solid plastic clear case and it’s very strong and durable. A big thumbs up from someone who has butter fingers and phone spends as much time on the floor as it does my own hands or pockets!

Really clever design! So you’ve found that it keeps your phone safe? I tend to drop mine as well!

It’s true – why get a fancy colour phone only to cover it up! 😛
My case is completely clear, very utilitarian… your design is very clever and eye-catching! 🙂
