Lee Stafford Coco Loco Blow & Go Genius Lotion Review

Lee Stafford Coco Loco Blow & Go Genius Lotion

When I saw a review of the Lee Stafford Coco Loco Blow & Go Genius Lotion over on Rhianna / Robowecop’s blog it was a product which I had to get my hands on immediately. That’s definitely a rarity when it comes to hair products.

When it comes to hair products, I’m rarely excited to try something out. There’s never been a product which has completely changed the way I do or manage my hair. Sure there are products which I’ve discovered which work incredibly well for me, such as the Aussie Dry Shampoo, which does work the best for my hair out of the 10 or so dry shampoos I’ve put to the test over the past year, but equally if that product didn’t exist anymore – I could replace it in my routine with something else and still get by.

Rihanna spoke of her troubles, like me – with very knotty hair that’s difficult to brush through and how this all-in-one product became a saviour for tangle free tresses. The product claims to help condition, improve shine, strengthen, heat protect, colour protect, nourish, repair damaged hair, smooth and soften. Detangling isn’t a quality which his even mentioned at all – but it’s what it delivers above and beyond for on me.

After showering it can take me 20 minutes to brush my hair, with the aid of hair oils which help a little – but with Lee Stafford Coco Loco Blow & Go Genius Lotion I find it’s not taking more than a minute or two in total to brush through it. Add to that I don’t really need to apply anything else (other than oil which I still apply) – it’s essentially a blow dry lotion and heat protector in one so no more products are needed for me to get on and get a hair dryer on my head and style my hair.

My hair is left soft, and any split ends are left smooth too – I’ve had people this week while I’ve been at work whether my hair has been dyed again, or whether I’ve had a hair cut as my hair is looking THAT healthy – and the only thing that I’ve changed in the past 6 weeks is this one product. Add to that I’ve noticed far less hair breakage from having to tug away at my hair for 20 minutes at a time.

The only thing I find is that my fairly long, thick hair needs a very healthy sized dollop to work it through and I’d say after only 2 weeks that I’m already about a third of the way through the bottle. That being said it’s already a product which I’m thinking I don’t know how I’d go back to life without it.

The final thing to note is the smell of this product is also delicious, I’m not the biggest fan of coconut scents – especially when they’re in your face I find them a bit much, but this is just subtle enough to coat your hair in a scent which keeps your hair smelling fresh, as I’m writing this I used the product last night and the coconut smell is still lingering – without smelling like I’ve been hitting the Malibu hard the night before.

I don’t know whether it’s too early to claim holy grail status for a product – but I’m going to do it. I need this hair product to stay in my life! There’s more to the coco loco range and when I need to replace other products I’ve used up, I’ll be testing this range out further.

Do you have any favourite one product does it all hair products?

I second that dislike for coconut scents in my cosmetics. I only like it in my drinks! 😛 😆
