I’ve been a bit MIA for the past week or so – I’ve had scheduled blog posts but haven’t been left with much time to read or comment on anyone else’s – and for the past few days I’ve not managed to get anything else up all weekend either.
I ended up out all day yesterday finishing my last bits of Christmas shopping, and ended up having dinner out and going to the cinema to go and watch Star Wars in order to celebrate some news!
Friday morning I found out I got a job at a company I was offered a job at over a year ago – last minute I decided to stay and regretted it after a short while. It was a bit of a whirlwind week as they got in touch on Tuesday morning, inviting me in for a chat as they had a role – and by Friday morning I found out I got the job and was handing in my notice. All very unexpected, but it’s honestly probably the best Christmas present I could have asked for after a long year.
I’ve got a little haul going up tomorrow of some bits I picked up in a staff sale at work and a few little bits I picked up for myself in tk maxx yesterday.
I’ve just finished all my Christmas wrapping, and sitting down to a Sunday dinner. I hope you’re all having a lovely weekend, and you’re all prepped for Christmas (or you’re nearly ready!)
