Eco Tools Body & Contour Sculpting Brush Review

The Eco Tools Body & Contour Sculpting Brush has been in my Amazon basket for a good few months and I just hadn’t got round to popping it in as the item that would take me over £20 to get me free delivery (does anyone else do that?). But when I saw it in TK Maxx for a good £3/4 cheaper than it was one Amazon I decided to get it there and then.

I think had I of ordered it online I would have been disappointed when it came – the brush is ginormous – way to big to use on the face, as I place it below my cheekbones to contour there’s no room for movement, it’s already filled the space. It’s also about 2 inches thick which also would make for a completely unpretty look!

This is my first eco-tools brush and I will say it’s super soft and smooth, it’s not packed very dense with bristles which means it doesn’t pick up a vast amount of product and creates a very subtle line. Because it’s so large it also lends itself to being quite difficult to actually get into a pan, without product flying everywhere!

For me this is best suited for the body – if you’re that kind of person. I don’t really do this all that often, but I guess now is the season to be glamming yourself up more. But if you like adding a bronze down the centre of your legs or to make them look longer and more toned this is a good one. I’d say it’s still too big for using on places like the collar bone it’s just too clunky. The effect it gives is very, very subtle though and it’s not quite the brush I was hoping it to be (but after I saw it in store I knew it wasn’t going to be quite like the NARS ITA that I’ve been eyeing, but didn’t want to spend £40 on!)

Totally NOT a contouring brush but I like to use it to blend / diffuse my face as the final step, esp if I’m wearing a pigmented blush with highlighter. It IS super soft!
My current favourite contouring brush is from Anna Sui! It’s a flattened brush with natural hair bristles – she just calls it a Face Brush:

I have used it a few times for this, but have another brush I like more so it doesn’t happen very often! I have not seen that Anna Sui brush, I’ll be seeing if I can get my hands on that! x

That brush is huge! Reminds of the one that ELF has on their site. I just wouldn’t know what to do with it lol. xo

Even when I saw it in person I was like what am I going to do with this and still bought it anyway haha! It’s a brush with very few uses but at least if I need a brush this massive I now have one! (that’s what I’m rolling with!) xx

I love Eco Tools brushes but I’ve never seen this one before! I sometimes highlight/bronze my collarbone depending on my outfit so I imagine this brush would be perfect for something like that x
