On Monday you have have seen Part one of my empties featuring Makeup and Facial skincare, this is a part of a whopping 3 part series of empties for October, I used up an absolutely crazy amount of products – If you want to go back and check that out click here, otherwise here is Octobers haircare empties, and face wipes that may have been forgotten from the last haul!

Wilko Kids Detangling Spray

I’d been having real problems with my hair becoming very, very tangled and this helped brush through easier, it’s better than the one from L’Oreal which I had in my September Empties and it was only 50p so a bargain too – there’s a little left in this but the tube doesn’t quite stretch. Now I’ve had my hair cut and coloured, my hair is a lot more manageable and the need for dousing my hair heavily with this is no longer needed for now.

Repurchase? Not now, but in future yes

Beaver Hydro Nutritive Repairing Hair and Conditioner Samples

These were from a Birchbox from Septembers – I quite liked the shampoo, I can’t really comment on the conditioner as it wasn’t enough for me to use by itself and it got mixed in with another. Given the price of these I won’t be repurchasing as they’re not the cheapest brand and I didn’t feel like the shampoo did anything extra in that time to convince me to buy.

Peter Thomas Roth Mega Rich Shampoo

Think this was a Hilton Hotel freebie – this was fine – left my hair feeling clean but same as above, not a cheap brand and I don’t think I saw anything different to any other shampoo.

L’Oreal Extraordinary Oil Conditioner

In last months empties so I won’t talk too much about it, it’s another product which made my hair more manageable whilst it was knotting, using a heavy dose of this in the shower and leaving on for 5 minutes before brushing through before washing out, leaving hair soft, smooth and tangle free.

Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo (Reviewed here)

A product I’ve spoken about WAY too much on my blog, I’m guessing there’s been 8 empties of this in the last year, it’s rare when it’s not in a monthly empties. On the surface because it’s not powdery it could fool you into it doesn’t do anything, but with no residue it leaves the hair looking clean without feeling dirty. Hands down the best.

OGX Kukui Oil Conditioner

I received this in a Goodie bag when I went to the Bloggers Festival and I would never have tried it having tried the Argan Oil one from this range and it made my hair so greasy – this reminded me a lot of Aussie’s 3 minute Miracle and had a very similar colour, smell and consistency. I did like this but the packaging was so flimsy being such a thick conditioner it was really difficult to actually get the product out to use. If I wanted something like this again, I would just buy the Aussie one.

Repurchase? No

OGX Coconut Water Shampoo

Another product which I received at the Bloggers fest from the same brand – this was such an odd consistency as it wasn’t really a fluid but almost more like a gel. If you twist the bottle upside down it fell to the other side rather than dripped which is just bizarre. This had a delicious light coconut scent and did a good job of foaming up so a little went a long way and it lasted a long time.

Repurchase?: Whilst I did like it, honestly probably not – I have at least 6 others up including a salon size so I don’t need to purchase Shampoo for quite some time!

Derma Facial Wipes

face-wipes-october-2015-empties

For some reason these Derma Face wipes got missed out from my face empties on Monday, the dog may have got his hands on this packet before it made it to the empties box – so it’s a big dog chewed and worse for wear! These were cheap wipes from tescos at 99p, they were okay, but quite dry which made them a little hard work but eventually they did do the job,

Repurchase? No

That’s part 2 of my empties – Tomorrow I have another Beauty #TBT post featuring a Rimmel product – hopefully you’ll come back to see what it is! Friday will be the last installment of this months empties (thank goodness!) – and we can get onto all sorts of Christmassy fun afterwards!

Kids detangling sprays are the best! 🙂
I’ll have to look into that L’Oreal Extraordinary Oil Conditioner – does it weigh your hair down at all?

No it doesn’t my hair is pretty thick already and I don’t find that it makes my hair more heavy or difficult to work with, it’s actually as conditioner goes quite runny!

I need a detangler. Having long hair sucks in the tangling department.
I personally didn’t like the L’Oreal Conditioner, I love their red one better (I think it’s the one for colored hair).
Is the Aussie dry shampoo better than the Batiste one?

It does, and mine is so thick too and even when it was short had a tendancy to tangle more – my hairdresser has said she knows no other client whose hair tangles as much as mine! I don’t think I’ve ever tried the red one but I do know which you mean!
I’ve never really got on well with Batiste at all – I always found that it left a residue and the coloured ones never matched my hair colour and looked just as bad as the original white cast. It seems to be a bit of a marmite product I’ve seen reviews slating it but personally I get on well with it, it feels sticky if you spray it too close, spray from a distance, rub through the hair – grease is gone in seconds and the hair looks and feels fresh!

Never tried the colored ones, but I like the fragranced ones (Cherry and Blush) as in my experience they are not as powdery as the original one.
My hair brush looks like an animal’s tail after I’ve finished brushing my hair. And ofc being cold outside doesn’t help since my hair gets tangled because of scarves and coats.
