Love Me Beauty November 2015 – Unboxing & Review

It doesn’t feel like 5 minutes since I ordered my last Love Me Beauty “Box”, and it wasn’t long before November’s Credit refresh happened again. This month I felt largely the same as October and that I was seeing the same brands circle around again, great if you’re a new subscriber, but after being subbed for almost a year, it’s starting to feel same old same old.

My box took FOREVER to arrive this month, after ordering they claim your subscription will be delivered in 5-7 working days, mine took 13 this time which is only adding to the annoyance of feeling like the product rotation is getting a bit poor.

Luckily rather than seeing brands that I don’t like or I’m not bothered about, I saw some haircare brands which I have tried in the past and liked, and if you saw my October Empties, you would have seen that I’m currently having some “Hair Issues” having had a lot of breakages, and a lack of volume which has followed from that I decided to completely treat my hair to some new treats to hopefully bring some va-va-voom back before a cut and colour appointment at the end of the month!

For those who aren’t aware with Love Me Beauty, you’re the master of your own destiny. With a mix of makeup, haircare and skincare (although month to month it can be weighted more one way than the other) – you get a set amount of credits (60) to spread across products how you like, for the most part products are always 10 (usually sample size or lower end brands) or 20 (usually full size or higher end brands), so you can get six 10 credit things or three 20 credit things, or a mix between the two!

Percy & Reed Foaming Treatment Mask (20 Credits)

I’ve tried one Percy and Reed product in the past and get on with the product well, although it’s one of those that you don’t really know what it’s doing. I’m currently out of Hair Masks and was curious about this one being a foaming mask! I’ll come back with a report on this!

Neal & Wolf Elevate Volumising Lotion (20 Credits)

I got 4 products from Neal and Wolf in a past Love Me Beauty box and really liked the line. My hair is desperately seeking more volume so hopefully this will help plump up my locks and give them a bouncy boost!

Neal & Wolf Silk Smoothing Blowdry Balm (20 Credits)

Another product just because I’ve been really enjoying the Neal and Wolf range, I don’t have anything like this in my massive hair care stash which I’m trying  to de-clutter to just one of everything!

I think if you’re a new subscriber to Love Me Beauty you’ll love it – out of all the brands it offers the best value for money as you get decent sample sizes but for the most part full sizes which offer even better value for money. For me the brand/product cycling is slowing down and I don’t know how much longer it’s going to keep me interested. Love Me Beauty, If you’re reading this please address this with some new brands!

If you’re still having these problems when you’re ready for new shampoo and conditioner, you should take a look at Matrix Biolage’s Full Density line. It’s a little pricy, but it gives a lot of moisture without weighing the hair down because it makes the hair fuller by preventing breakage that would thin it out! I’ve been using it for 3 or 4 months now and my hair is probably the best it’s ever been.
