OZ Naturals Vitamin C Cleanser

OZ Naturals Vitamin C Cleanser

A few months ago I reviewed the OZ Naturals Ocean Minerals Cleanser, I liked it but it hasn’t been the most favourite cleanser that I’ve tried. I decided to try out their other cleanser as apart of their reviewer programme which I’m apart of – hoping that I’d get on better with the OZ Naturals Vitamin C Cleanser*.

One of the things I didn’t like about the Ocean Minerals cleanser was the scent, strangely one of the re-occuring ways people get to me is through the search term ‘My Oz Naturals Cleanser Stinks’ and unfortunately this one is has the same weird trait. I don’t know what it is about the cleansers but they do have a very bleach type smell, but I guess for those with sensitive skin who have issues even with fragrance in products might appreciate that there isn’t scent added to these natural products to help mask the smell.

I like this one over the Ocean Minerals one as I found with that one it really stung my eyes, where as this one doesn’t. As someone who is too lazy to cleanse in front of the mirror, I need to be able to slap a product on in the shower and not worry about where it’s going to go and whether it’s going to sting.  I use this as a second step cleanser, I’ve found that this doesn’t do the best job of removing makeup, especially around the eye area.

This gel formulation foams slightly as you massage into the skin, containing Vitamin C to brighten the complexion, Rose hip oil which helps prevent signs of ageing and Aloe Vera to deep clean pores. I haven’t been using it long enough to tell yet, but it’s also designed to help rebalance the skin tone and fade discolouration, so I’ll be interested to see if it can clear up lingering signs from a few cystic acne spots that I’ve had around my jawline for years.

The routine I’ve been doing for the past two weeks of using Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Cleanser followed by this has been working a dream. I’ve not had single new blemish of any description, my skin is looking brighter, and I’ve noticed that my skin isn’t getting oily so quickly. I’ve just run out of my Pure Truth Cleanser, but have tested it out the odd time with other things and results have been the same.

I actually quite like this cleanser too! As you say it’s best for a second cleanse or a ‘first thing in the morning’ cleanse but I really like the way it leaves my skin looking and feeling. The first time I used it, I hated it but I have persevered and I am actually starting to really like the OZ naturals range of products! xxx

I really really like the Ocean Tonic (I think thats it’s name) I’ve actually completely finished it up! I think it was in my last empties post actually. I know, I don’t know what to pick next actually. I quite like the exfoliator too, but its a weird concept – it’s a powder that you have to add water to but it’s really really exfoliating! x

Ha, that’s funny already have the rice exfoliator and I ordered the tonic yesterday! Clearly making similar choices! X

Great minds hey?! I hope you enjoy the Toner, I genuinely would consider buying it! Although, the smell takes a little getting used to and randomly the bottle gets a bit ‘mouldy’ which is off putting lol! x
