I Am Juicy Couture Perfume – Review

I love Juicy Couture Perfume

After the new found deep love I discovered for carrying a perfume in my handbag I decided to treat myself to a proper Rollerball for on the go sprucing up. In the US and Canada, and I think even other parts of Europe rollerball fragrances are much easier to come by than the are here in the UK. I took a complete gamble by ordering I am Juicy Couture online – as it was a new fragrance I hadn’t even given a whiff to instore, but luckily I wasn’t disappointed!

Part of what tempted me was that this 10ml bottle was cheaper than buying the equivalent of a 30ml bottle of the same stuff from FeelUnique – at £8.99, and with a further 20% off it made it ridiculously cheap.

In the past I’ve loved Viva La Juicy, but it’s a fragrance I’ve grown out of love with, but in general do always like them in store – it’s just not the case I’d necessarily buy them anymore, but I would definitely think about purchasing this if I’d seen and smelt it in Boots.

In the haul that this featured in I said that it reminded me of something but I couldn’t pinpoint what it was – in my head it’s my new favourite fragrance ‘Olympea’ (more on that soon), but looking at the notes they aren’t remotely comparable! Initially what hits you with this fragrance is a warm berry scent with hints of florals as it settles on the skin. With top notes of raspberry, apple and passionfruit, a musky base and lots of floral heart notes this completely adds up.

Normally whilst I have loved Juicy Couture fragrances in the past they haven’t been the most long lasting, this one however is the one which has broke the mould. If I’ve forgotten to apply a perfume in the morning – and put it on when I get to work, I get constant waves of the fragrance throughout the day, and getting lots of compliments for smelling good as I go.

I Am Juicy Couture is a very feminine fragrance, but the warm musky and woody base notes stop it feeling like a perfume which is aimed at teenagers, and suited towards everyone, and the full size bottle feels a bit of a transition away from their usual style, with no big gold badge emblazoned across the front of the bottle (while the rollerball packaging is completely dissimilar.

I’d completely recommend going to check the fragrance I Am Juicy Couture out if you haven’t already! What are your favourite perfumes to carry on the go?

I bought a bottle of Viva La Juicy in a makeup sale a few months back and I’ve worn it just about everyday. Will have to give this a whiff next time I spy a tester!

Sounds like a lovely fragrance. These rollerballs or small perfume bottles are just so convenient, more brands should be making those 🙂
