Winter Wishlist

I know it’s getting to the time of year where I know family and friends will start pestering me for my Christmas Wishlist, and I start thinking about all the little things I want to get for around this time of year. I pretty much like everything I see at the moment (which isn’t good for my bank balance), but I’m going to keep myself restrained, and point friends and family to this post, in the hope they might treat me to some of it!

Dresses

winter-wishlist-Dresses

ASOS Kimono Sequin Mini Dress (£65)

ASOS Hitchcock Dress (£55)

Tis’ the season for sparkly dresses, I tend to treat myself to one dress a year for the festive season which I then rotate around with the one I wore the year before so I become a blur of not wearing the same dress, without buying 10. I like the Kimono Sequin Dress – they don’t seem to do it in a tall version which is annoying as I’m guessing as it’s already described as a mini dress it will be very short – which is a shame (although I’m not sure whether I could choose between the rose gold sequinned version and the navy – I love them both). How stunning is the Hitchcock dress – since I’ve been looking at it, it’s been stalking me around the internet tempting me to buy it – and I love the print so much – we have quite a few weddings to go to next year (which Ideally I want to buy a dress that will suit all occasions) and I think whilst greys and black the pops of colour are enough to make it still feel not dreary.

Shoes

ASOS Sixth Sense Heels (£45)

I do not need another pair of heels – I thought my recently built closet would have ‘growing room’ but alas it’s almost full! I love the Valentino Rockstar shoes and this is like a sparkly version of these – and actually on my huge feet the fact that the points are more rounded, I think will be more complimentary. The colours in this are enough to add interested, but should be muted enough to go with everything. Love!

Coat

winter-wishlst-coats

Joules Raina Parka (£125)

Barbour International Springer Jacket (£249)

Barbour International Katana Check Jacket (£299)

More of a practical coat purchase than a day to day walking around town one – I want something for when I walk the dog in winter that has just the right amount of fashion to it. I’ve wanted a Barbour coat for ages and a family member who works for the Queen gets 50% off there now – which means the investment would be a whole lot cheaper and you can send them to get them resized/repaired etc, so it’s a piece which will could literally last a lifetime.

Pyjamas & Lingerie

winter-wishlist-PJ-and-Lingerie

M&S Cowl Neck Jumper (£22.50)

M&S Soft Fleece Pyjamas (£30)

Rosie For Autograph Holly Bra (£27.50) and Knickers (£12.50)

I’m the kind of person who likes to put my Pyjamas on as soon as I walk through the door at night. I love the cowl neck fleece jumper as it looks like a halfway house between clothing and pyjamas, I feel as if my mother was to come over (who does judge me for wanting to wear pyjamas all the time at home) would feel okay about me wearing this. The second pair just look so god damn snuggly and are fleece lined – Dog will defiantly want to eat the bobbles though. M&S are killing it for me at the moment with their Lingerie – their stuff is seriously pretty (and sexy) and always outlasts everywhere else I buy from.

Jewellery

winter-wishlist-jewellery

Swarovski Parallele Pendant Necklace (£99)

BaubleBar Roma Collar ($48)

Swarovski Stardust Bracelet (£40)

I’ve been eyeing all of these pieces for so long, I think it’s time some treated me to them all! The Bauble Bar necklace looks quite yellow in the picture, but it’s in fact mirrored gold. I think it’s very eye-catching and would look nice all year round, it’s very festive and summery at the same time. Both these Swarovski Pieces have been on my wishlist forever, I love white glittery stuff – so I like the super sparkly clear Stardust Bracelet – which will also go with everything. The pendant comes out in various different shapes each year, but I love the Gold with the Charcoal droplet with the aysymmetric style, It’s subtle enough that you could dress up a casual outfit, but dressy enough that it will suit most occassions.

Beauty

Beauty-wishlist

Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm + Muslin Cloth Bauble (£10)

Charlotte Tilbury Mini Lipstick Charms (£29)

Freedom Strobe Cream (£8) Contour & Highlight Palette + Brush (£10) & Ambient Highlighter (£3)

I’ve been wanting to try the Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm forever but I’ve not wanted to splurge on a full size of it as it’s very pricey. This is still pricey at £10 for a miniature sample but at least it’s a good indication as to whether I’d ever like to purchase the full size. Ahhh Charlotte Tilbury, I’ve been wanting to indulge in her makeup since it launched – I don’t mind splashing the cash on lipsticks/makeup, but I generally like to see it so I don’t make an expensive mistake, it’s another brand which is not easily accessible to try/swatch or see in person, but a trio of 3 products would be a nice little stocking filler don’t you think? Lastly much more budget friendly is some Freedom Items, I’ve been wanting to try some new items from their latest launch this month and these 3 are the top of my list, The highlighter is a dupe for the Ambient lighting powders from Hourglass, and the strobe cream for MAC’s own version – while the cream contour palette very much reminds me of Smashbox.

Home

winter-wishlist-home

Joules Lake Blue Bedding (£50-£85)

Sass and Belle Party Ring Coasters (£10)

M&S Nomad Tablewear (£59)

I desperately want some new bedding for my spare room, currently we have a Cath Kidston set on there and it is HORRIBLE to Iron, it permanently looks creased and takes forever to get it to a state that looks like it just hasn’t been ironed let alone perfectly flat. I’ve seen this in person and I adore it, unfortunately it wasn’t in the right size but I will be getting this! Coasters shaped like biscuits need no more explanation. We really need some new tablewear – ours is diminishing by a plate a month, I have been looking for about 6 months and this has been the first that I’ve seen that I’ve liked – If we do any hosting this Christmas we need new tablewear as we only have 5 plates currently – unfortunately that means buying about 3 sets of these to make sure it will last us!

Love the M&S lingerie – I’ve been wanting to order off that site for ages. They were offering free international shipping before, I hope they still have the offer!
Those Freedom items are TOTAL dupes for Hourglass and MAC – wow!

I watched a video online of those products being used and was like yep, I need those! Lusted after hourglass for a year now but not willing to spend that much! Just discovered the M&S Lingerie doesn’t go up to my size, which is a shame as it’s beautiful – but they always have nice lingerie in my size so hopefully they’ll have something similar! M&S won’t disappoint in quality, I’m currently wearing a cardigan that I’ve had for 5 years and it’s not got a single bobble on it – still looks like new!

M&S used to have stores in Canada but they closed them. I was young but I remember we used to get our underwear and socks from there because of the high quality. I can’t wait to place an order! 🙂
