Lust List September 2015 – Duty Free

I’ve mentioned a fair few times that I’m going on holiday (sorry if I’m banging on about it!) and the final countdown is now on until we depart! This Thursday is the day we jet off to Egypt and I’m so excited – almost as much for duty free as I am the holiday.

I don’t have a massive list of things to get, I was hoping to splurge on some NARS lip products at the airport since discovering Walkyrie Pencil Lipstick in my Cohorted box, but on further airport investigation I’ve learnt that sadly there is no NARS counter. *heavy sigh*. I don’t plan on picking all of these up – but here’s a few products that are at least on my hit list to have a look at!

Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer

I love my Essence All About Matt Concealer, but there’s a massive shade selection of only 2 shades and neither of them are super pale. I’ve been wanting to try this because I’ve seen it used in videos and it looks super high coverage and I want a shade that’s lighter for contouring.

MAC Viva Glam Miley 2

I wouldn’t be interested in this from just seeing the swatches online, but I saw this reviewed on XSparkage’s youtube channel and really loved the look of this shade and I don’t think I have anything in this orangey/red shade. As someone who has just dipped her toe into Orange lipstick with MAC’s Morange, (and still feel very unsure about the colour on me!) this might me a slightly easier way to dip my toes into that spectrum.

MAC Vamplify Lipglosses

I’m not a big lipgloss wearer, but I’m really intrigued by these! I’m wanting to get my hands on one of these, maybe a nice berry shade for autumn (as my favourite lipgloss NARS bad education is almost empty and that would suitably replace). Sadly the MAC website is all out of stock of every shade which will mean that the airport will be a last hope to get my hands on one.

Victoria’s Secret Body Sprays

We’re now able to order VS body sprays in the UK – the catch – it’s Β£20 delivery, as much as 5 of the sprays. I’m almost out of my stash that I bought in January with 2 part bottles left. I’ll be picking up 5 at the airport on the way out (which is annoying as it means I’ll have to lug them back), but we don’t have a VS near us and they’re a ball ache to get to in London, so now will actually be the most practical time!

Swarvoski Pen

This pen might look familiar. That’s because it was featured in last years holiday haul. I need another one of these because I’ve lost it, I wish I could say it’s the first that I’ve lost but sadly this is my second. Whilst Swarvoski, these aren’t as expensive as you might think… but I definitely don’t plan on losing a third!

If you can think of anything else that you think I should go and take a look at please let me know (especially if they’re travel/airport exclusives!) What beauty bits are you lusting after?

  1. Hey πŸ™‚

I feel your pain, every time I go travelling, I bawl my eyes out at the incredibly expensive makeup and skincare in the Duty Free. Granted, the price is probably similar, but there’s just something about the airport setting that makes you want all of the products – especially the airport exclusive ones. (and also the ‘this will make your flight better, 100%!’ ones…)

Those VS sprays seem so incredible, and the double wear concealer – oh gosh!
I never knew i wanted those things, until now. Haha!

    Lovely post!

    Have a nice day. πŸ™‚

    xx
