Colab Sheer Invisible Dry Shampoo Review

The latest formulation from Ruth Crilly (A Model Recommends) Colab line. Colab Sheer+Invisible is designed to be an improved (in my eyes) formula of the original bottle. On my darker hair I found that it left a little white residue behind, which was my only sticking point with the original

This is my first time picking up the New York scent, which is by far my favourite out of all the ones I’ve tried so far, subtly fruity this leaves my hair smelling fresh without being too overpowering.
After the initial spray suggests that it will still be white cast left. this brushes out completely to leave nothing behind at all. The product doesn’t feel as powdery as it’s predecessors and in that respect it reminds me much more of my beloved Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo or a past favourite – Dove. Because of this I don’t think it’s AS effective as soaking up oil, and doesn’t leave my hair looking AS clean – however it does still do a good job.

This is my favourite from the Colab range so far, because it doesn’t leave a cast in my hair, but if you’ve tried and loved the original or volumising ranges – and don’t struggle with any residue being left behind, then I would stick with those as I think they’re more effective.

The worst thing about dark hair is finding out you’ve got white hair after using dry shampoo! Have you tried Batiste’s dry shampoo for darker hair? It comes out brown so it leaves no whiteness 😊 xo

I have never tried the brown ones but did used to religiously use batiste, I never felt like my hair felt clean which is why I stopped using it! Maybe I need to give it a go again! X

There’s a few brands doing out the coloured ones at the moment, but they stain clothing pretty badly! xo

Eek! My fear as well as because my hair is ombréd that I’ll spray it into the blonde a little and it will look silly!

It washes right off, so at least you’ll know water takes it off 🙂 xo

Oh I love the older and extreme version of colab, but since my hair is a little lighter the white doesn’t show as much. This sounds like a great new version though.

Me too! Although I always seem to have trouble with the bottles mine stop spraying half way through, I’ve only ever bought one bottle that hasn’t stopped working half way through 🙁

Ohhh must be the spray tube hole being blocked? I’ve never had a problem with mine! That’s so weird..

Colab Extreme Volume is my favourite! It just gives great volume and doesn’t leave a white cast and makes my 2nd day hair appear CLEAN.
