OZ Naturals Ocean Mineral Cleanser Review

OZ Naturals Ocean Mineral Cleanser

After having a good experience with the OZ Naturals Dermafoliant which I reviewed last month on my blog, I was offered to become part of the product reviewers for OZ Naturals – meaning I could pick out items to try. I’ve seen a lot about their serums and their dermafoliant recently as they seem to be giving them a big push – so I decided to pick something different and something I’d not seen anyone else write about.

The OZ Naturals Ocean Mineral Cleanser is a natural face wash claiming to soothe and renew skin whilst stimulating cellular regeneration, it’s also made from 72% organic ingredients, is 100% vegan friendly and cruelty free. Containing Organic Rose Hip Oil, Vitamin E and Borage Oil. Interestingly this has lavender water in it – which I would have expected to have an allergic reaction and wouldn’t have picked this had I of known, but I’ve had no adverse effects.

This is a clear gel formula which is a little on the runny side, but a little goes a long way. I’ve been using this all over my face and it removes and gets rid of makeup quickly and easily. Including stubborn eye make up (Benefit Roller Lash, I’m lookin’ at you). Whilst no where it says that you can’t use this on the eye area – I do find I have to be very careful as it does tend to sting the eyes if it gets in, which can be a little difficult as the formulation is quite thin.

One test I like to do when I try out new cleansers is using a toner afterwards – sometimes my skin will feel clean and I’ll run a cotton pad over my face and there will still be foundation residue on my cheeks. The OZ Naturals Ocean Mineral Cleanser leaves no makeup behind – so my pores are well and truly clean. After only a few days I was already noticing a big difference in my skin, it was looking brighter and feeling smoother, and a week on it’s continued to get better.

The only thing I don’t like about this is the smell – it smells quite bleach like or at least very cleaning product like. It’s certainly not a smell which I think of as being synonymous with skincare. It is however a really good cleanser and because of that I’ll happily make do with the smell.

This cleanser is available via Amazon – link here.

Have you tried anything from OZ Naturals that you’d recommend I try?

Almost went for the serum but I have 3 other full sizes, one of which I’ve not tried yet! Will take a look at the moisturiser 🙂 x
