OFRA Hollywood – Swatch and Review

I sob as I write this, the very last of the magnificent OFRA liquid lipsticks that I’ve been loving from the past few months. OFRA Hollywood was the final piece of the puzzle that I picked up as part of my June Love Me Beauty Box.

Hollywood on the LMB website looked like a fairly scary pale barbie pink with very lilac undertones, when it arrived it looked nothing like it. It’s a very wearable pink with very slight orangey coral undertones, it reminds me a lot of MAC’s chatterbox.

Out of the 4 that I now have, this is the worst formulation, it takes more time to get an even application than the rest and needs 2 coats to be nice and creamy. Unlike the others where I can almost go a whole day before needing to reapply, including eating – I found this wore off a lot quicker, at around 4 hours before the need to reapply. That being said, that’s still great for a lipstick and not something that I find many others giving the same length of wear time.

Overall the OFRA long lasting lipsticks are fantastic from what I’ve tried, and all these reviews have done is make me sad that we can’t get them in the UK, imagine getting hold of a red which you can guarantee is budge free like the rest of them for a whole day. I need one of those in my life! I will in future do some investigating as to how I can get my hands on them, unless anyone in the US wants to do a swap with me for some UK cosmetics?!

  1. Thanks for your swatches! I know this was quite some time ago but if you haven’t gotten your hands on more ofra yet I might be up for doing a swap. Ironically enough I actually have family in the UK – my dad was born there – but none who I know well are really into makeup/cosmetics. Let me know:)
