Green People Fruit Scrub Exfoliator Review

eople Fruit Scrub Exfoliator

Picked up as a ‘just using up the credits’ item in June’s Love Me Beauty Box, I didn’t have high expectations of this Green People Fruit Scrub Exfoliator I just chose on a whim, having never really seen or heard anything from the brand before.

This is a generous sized sample, at 30ml – the full size of this is 50ml, so you get a good idea as to how it will work and how long it will last you. I’ve been using this every other day for the past few weeks. I’ve been trying to move more towards natural skincare where possible, and whilst not completely natural this is made from 88% natural ingredients and isn’t tested on animals. Claiming to give brighter, radiant skin – I’ve been thinking as I’ve been using it it smells slightly banana-ry, but the ingredients are Apricot, Mandarin and Bergamot.

You don’t need a massive amount of the scrub to clean your face – I’ve put a picture below so you can see the consistency, but infact that’s about double what you would actually need. The exfoliator doesn’t melt or burst, so you can really work the formula around your face without needing to use too much.

The texture of this is very different to the OZ Naturals Dermafoliant that I tried recently, much more of a classic exfoliator. The exfoliating beads are small and fine, but they do a good job of making the skin feel better. I’ve had a few spots crop up and this has done a good job of buffing away dry skin as they’ve been heeling over. I would say my skin looks brighter too – but we’ve had a boost of good weather recently and I think that’s partially down to spending more time in the sun too.

Given I’ve been using the Green People Fruit Scrub Exfoliator every other day for the most part, I’m almost at the end of this 30ml sample after only 3 weeks. This isn’t the most affordable scrub at £12.95 for 50ml – whilst I am enjoying using it, I don’t feel like I would get my money out of a full sized tube. It’s been a nice thing to have for free – but I’d whizz through a full size tube in a month or just over.

Great review! I think I seen a post on this brand once before. I had never really heard of the brand either. 🙂 xo
