The Beauty Bay Sale Haul

If you saw my post informing you of amazing deals you could find in the Beauty Bay sale, what’s in this post will come as no surprise! For any of you who missed this, get yourself over to the Beauty Bay – and see wha’s still available – as I’m writing this a few days in advance as I’m busy all weekend, I don’t know if it’s still on or not!

I’ve never ordered from the Beauty Bay before, and was impressed with their shipping. All orders are free to be delivered within 2 days, and only £2.50 for next day tracked delivery. I decided to go for the next day delivery as I knew my postie would put them in my safe spot and they might have been there for a few days as I wouldn’t have been home if I hadn’t had them delivered next day. £2.50 is pretty reasonable for Next day delivery though, so well done beauty bay on not being extautionate.

1/ Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Palette

Reduced to a mere £13 something – that’s impossible to leave behind right? The cooler toned of the Naked Basics palettes, I really love the shades in this. I was expecting to do some comparisons with the budget brand Collection eyes uncovered palettes, but I don’t think this matches up with one of them as I thought it would! Love this, can’t wait to start using it – 3 out of 6 shades don’t show up very well against my arm skin tone. As you’d expect from UD these are ultra creamy there’s one shimmer shade ‘skimp’ and 5 matte shades.

2/ Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette in Strip

Again reduced to £13 something, I might not have chose this colour way if it wasn’t the only one which was reduced, but the shades in it are nice none the less. The bronzer in this is quite shimmery (might also make a nice eyeshadow), and the highlighter is very metallic. The blush is very nice, but atleast as a quick first impressions swatching with my finger it’s not the most pigmented. I’ll do a proper review of this when I’ve used and tested it out.

3/ The Beauty Bay Blending Sponge

Reduced to £2.50 – and with the nail polish below it was also on BOGOF. These were rated really well on the website so I decided to give it a try. I’ve only ever tried the Real Techniques sponge before and this feels much firmer. I believe this is a dead on shape dupe for the Beauty blender – and the angled sides feel more ‘sharp’ in angle if that makes sense than RT. Can’t wait to give this a go.

4/The Beauty Bay Nail Polish in It’s Snowing on Main Street

This was the item I was picking out as a “free” one (kind of wish I got 2 of the sponges now) – but I googled some of their nail polish swatches and quite liked look of this one. It’s a topcoat with see through holographic glitter – so layering over other polishes this picks up on the colour of the base and looks really pretty over ombre nails.

That’s it! Have you bought from the Beauty Bay before? Have you tried any of the above?

Super awesome haul! I love the UD palette and how they are all matte, no sparkles! <3

The palest has such a slight shimmer, but is nice for the brow bone, other than that they’re all gorgeous mattes which are perfect for sockets & creases <3

Great Haul, I’ve used Beauty Bay before as they ship worldwide which is awesome as I live in Korea. I like the look of the UD basics palette.
