Love Me Beauty July 2015

How are we mid way through July already? This month seems to be completely flying by. The middle of the month does tend to mean one thing though – the arrival of countless subscription boxes on my doorstep! Hopefully all the new goodies will mean that I behave and don’t spend anything with lots of new things to keep me busy until the end of the month. Today we have July’s Love Me Beauty Box Unboxing.

love-me-beauty-july-2015-box-review-unboxing      Low down for those who are new to Love Me Beauty boxes, you have 6 credits to spend each month, you choose how you spend and distribute the items each month. Normally theres 2 or 3  brands which dominate the boutique’s offerings. Items are normally 1 or 2 credits each – and. Due to a loyalty bonus, plus people using my referral code (at the end – will give you 3 extra credits in your first box) I had 13 Credits to use this month, so my box will be bigger than your average.

You’ll notice there’s one particular brand which dominated my choices this month. I decided to pick up every Neal & Wolf item that they had as I’ve heard lots about the brand and never tried, plus all of the items were full size so offered great value for money out of the box! You’ll know from my hair care collection that I hate having excess hair care, but whilst I have a lot of the items here, they’re all items I will easily get through and will be staples that I use regularly.

Neal & Wolf Guard Heat Protection Spray  Full Size £11.50 – 2 Credits

I am on my last heat protection spray, and it’s proving to not be my favourite (mainly down to the scent). Picking up another of this hair care essentials wasn’t the most silly choice I could have made – whilst they’re products you don’t really see a difference in your hair with (at least me personally), I always like to protect my hair as much as possible!

Neal & Wolf Glow Super Shine Spray – Full Size £12.50 – 2 Credits

I actually don’t have any shine sprays in my collection any more after finishing a Tigi Bed Head one around a year ago I never replaced. I’ve always opted for oils if my hair was looking very dull – but sometimes it can alter a hairstyle or weigh it down, so it will be nice having a spray to spritz over my hair and refresh it’s shine – especially for day 2 or 3 hair.

Neal & Wolf Velvet Nourishing Hair Oil – Full Size £14.95 – 2 Credits

I’m on my last dregs of my favourite L’Oreal mythic oil (which I received in a glossybox over 3 years ago), whilst I’ve loved it, it’s time to try something new. This is the only thing which I’ve had a quick pump of, and it smells lovely!

Neal & Wolf Control Flexible Styling Hairspray – Full Size £9.50 – 2 Credits

You can never have enough hairspray – I’ve been curling my hair a lot recently and hairspray is essential in the heat we’re having to keep it in place all day. This is also a smaller can than my favourite Got 2 B Hairspray so it will be good for any nights away.

Yes! Nurse ‘Protect Your Lovely Hands’ Moisturiser – Full Size £5.49 – 1 Credit

I’m down to my last 2 hand creams, one in my handbag and one in my bedside table and at least one, if not both will be empty by the end of the month. I’ve never heard of this brand before so was curious to give it ago. Claiming to nourish, smooth and repair, what more do we want from a hand cream right?

Bellápierre Shimmer Powder in ‘Champagne’ – Full Size £12.99 – 2 Credits

Normally I wouldn’t opt for any loose pigment based products, but I thought I would push the boat out and try something new. Whilst you’re probably thinking you picked the colour you probably have loads of, I actually don’t have many shades this colour, especially which aren’t in a palette. It reminds me of one of my favourite eyeshadows of all time “Maui Wowie” from urba decay but it’s slightly paler. I love this, it’s nicely finely milled I hope it wears as well as it looks like it will!

LMB Nail File – 1 Credit

I had one last credit to spend so had the choice between eyebrow tweezers or a nail file. I can’t count how many tweezers there are scattered across my house, and my dog always nicks my nail files if they’re laying about, so I opted for a nail file over tweezers.

Total Value of Box  = £66.93 + Nail File

If you’re thinking of subscribing and want to take a look back at previous boxes – I’d check back at all my past Love Me Beauty Reviews. If you do want to sign up, please use my referral code 4AI3UB to get an 3 extra credits in your first box (it used to be 1 extra – 3 have a value of up to £21 so that’s great!). You chose a very different selection to me so interesting to see what you thought as I had really considered the hair products. My review is here:
